My husband I was were trying to watch a documentary on Albert Fish, the notorious serial killer or torturer of children. I say “tried” because he managed to sit through it where I had to walk away.

I had to walk away because they had this lunatic on there offering commentary. They had two lunatics on, actually but I am only going to mention one of them because people don’t like to read a long post.

Among many other things, Albert Fish, killed and consumed this little girl, Grace Budd. Later he wrote her mother a letter, detailing his crime:

Most of you know I don’t watch TV but lately I’ve begun to. I feel like I have to put a disclaimer up when I mention this because I haven’t watched TV for 20 years so I don’t want to misrepresent myself as someone who is aware of trends in programming.

Last night I watched an episode of “Snapped” about a woman who murdered her fiance in 1995 in what many would call a crime of passion.  I was thinking about how things have changed.  These days people plan to murder others if and when certain conditions are met.  They have an exit strategy and harming others is part of it.

The other day when I was looking for the date of my divorce so I could get a marriage license I came across a folder of astrology charts from the early 90′s. That was when computer programs to calculate charts came out but I didn’t own one. At the time when I met someone I made a trip to the metaphysical bookstore and a dotty old fashioned DOS chart print out.

On topic, I have the chart of the main tabloid reporter who covered the JonBenet Ramsey case. This was after Nicole Simpson was murdered and you may or may not remember it was the tabloid breaking all the news in that case. They really gained status at that time, routinely publishing things that were later proved true and this guy was front and center in that. (He is a Capricorn rising so quite credible)

Breakfast this morning. We were talking about I don’t know what. Death and murder, I guess. 8th house subjects.

“Well most people never go to that edge,” he said. “But I’ve been there and I am telling you when you get all the way out there, self preservation kicks in.”

“I don’t know if I agree. If that’s true, then what about these women who don’t fight a rapist? Why doesn’t their self preservation kick in? They just get raped.”

“It does kick in but it’s too late. It does kick in but they wait too long. They wait until the guy is on top them, he’s got her pinned and when he starts choking her… now he’s going to kill her, then it kicks in but by then it’s too late. She’s thinking I’ll just let him do this and it will be all right. But then he starts choking her and she starts fighting at that point. And he gets his jollies from that and then she gets killed. And this is what the military trains you for. To self-preserve in time. You have to have that instinct kick in while there is still something you can do.”

We discussed suicide in relation to this rule and later, this:

“What about a guy who remains defiant while he is tortured to death?” I asked. “I know for a fact this happens.”

“It does happen. Yeah, that can happen.”

“So how does he break the rule? Why doesn’t his self preservation kick in?” I asked.

“Because it’s different. That’s a guy who is going to fight. That’s a fight to the death.”

I could not argue with any of this. You?

Other Pluto (death) Moon (women/past) happenings….

My sister’s best friend in high school, mother with two children went missing some years ago. I knew her pretty well myself.

Her husband who she was in the process of divorcing was immediately suspect when it was discovered he was a fugitive living under an assumed name. He was extradited out of state to face other charges (aggravated assault, attempted murder, forgery) but her body never turned up.

I followed this case for some years before letting it slip away but I had cause to poke around last week and found that although her body has still not been located her husband pleaded “no contest” to her death and was sentenced to 20 years for the crime… this on top whatever else he was being sentenced for.

I also turned up the perp’s birth data, courtesy of astrologer, Bob Marks who has included his data as part of his study: Frequencies of Various Aspects and House and Sign Positions in the Horoscopes of Murderers, Serial Killers, and Mass Murderers as Compared to Control Groups

That’s his chart there … (see full size) can you just imagine the grin and smooth talking of Jupiter rising in Gemini in concert with the undertow of the 8th house. Gah.
