The Venus Neptune Angle On The Failure Of My Bank – Netbank
Astrology in Real Life
Today, I had the biggest payday I have had in 12 years when I was paid for administrating that blog. Money flowed in, yes?
Then I went to pay bills and found my bank had gone missing.
Pretty funny, don’t you think?
Fact is the money I had will reconstitute (reappear) within a couple of days. It will come back like the tide but I just marvel at how these things could happen on the same day.
Easy come, easy go and all you can do behold the art of the universe. That and try to figure out its tricks.
Because I think this means something of course. Matter of fact I think it means all kinds of things. But in the end, what I have is some more Saturn in Virgo tasks.
I have used Netbank for about nine years. I totally rely on them for bill paying. This is daily routine stuff (Virgo) so now I need a new structure… something safe, ha ha ha. As if I can have that with Saturn / Neptune.
Oh well, how about I go for the illusion of safe? Put my Venus Neptune money in the bank on faith and see if it disappears.
Or maybe I can hide my money in a hole in the ground for fear (Saturn) and then forget where I put it (Neptune). Is that a better idea? :smirk:
Let’s face it, you just can’t hide. And here’s the other thing.
The money comes back so it’s like nothing happened, but that’s an illusion. Something happened all right. A bank failed due bad loans and we all know there is no scarcity of those…
Love and Money: Venus in the 8th House – Redux
Behind The Scenes at ElsaElsa
The gal with Venus in 8th house, from the love and money post, surfaced in the comments with this:
“I have learned my own contours as a woman with this man.”
Is that beautiful or what? Nothing like appreciating the nuance. And this post has haunted me some.
For the record, I work ahead. I am usually at least a week ahead with the advice posts, which are then set to load automatically. And I rarely alter them once I load them, just because of my nature. Done is done. Next!
But I had the idea repeatedly with this one to go back and add a few lines. I thought the post was okay as is, but I wondered if she might have gotten stuck on the supposed critical tone and missed my intention which was to bring her some peace.
Because I felt she already knew everything I wrote in her head. It’s not like it was new. But I thought if I would tweak her perspective, and she started seeing things in this way…well she had a shot at extreme contentment and a level of happiness that would be enviable.
Because this other idea is authentic to her. Not to everyone, but to her. To some people money is everything. And they teach this to their kids as if there is only one shoe and we all have to wear it. Anyway, it was very gratifying to read her comment this morning. She graced the blog.

I’m Frugal, She’s Not! Capricorn Wonders What To Do
Dear Elsa,
I am in a relationship with another Capricorn and it’s really good; we think the same on many levels. However, we have differing views about how to handle money.
I am frugal, examining every purchase for practicality… while she is trying to teach me that money is to spend, to enjoy now.
Is there a way to come to some common ground on this?
Money Concerns
Dear Money,
Yours is an interesting case. Did you know that you and your gal pal are both Capricorns with Scorpio Moons and Venus in Aquarius? That’s a lot to have in common, so my first thought it “viva la difference!” But you’re calling this a problem, and I do know people break up over stuff like this all the time. So here’s a more serious analysis:
You’re both about fifty years old and let’s face it. No one is going to be telling either one of you what to do. Think you’re going to be able control a Capricorn? Think again!
Further with Venus in Aquarius, you are both trying to “revolutionize” the other’s feelings about money, but what does Aquarius do? It rebels! It resists anything that wants it to conform, so can you see how hopeless this is in both directions? There is no way for either of you to win, so the only sensible thing to do is give up. Give up trying to reform each other and you may be very surprised at what happens “organically”.
That is: if you don’t harp on her and you just live, she will almost indubitably start to see the merit in your methods and vice versa! So this is my advice: Abort all missions meant to control each other and just live as you are, letting the problem solve itself over time.
Good luck.
