Is a relationship doomed if Mercury is retrograde on the first date?

Worried

Absolutely not. Your dinner reservation might get messed up but that’s about it. Someone is 10 minutes late, the other person deals with it well and you’re off and running on a great date.

Nothing and no one is ever “doomed” via their chart or a planetary configuration in the sky. If an astrologer tells you otherwise – run!

You don’t need perfect conditions to fall in love. In fact the opposite is more conducive so go on your date and enjoy!

All my life I have heard the phrase, hindsight is 20/20. I thought I knew what it meant right up until this week.

Sure it’s hard to comprehend something when you are in the midst of it, especially when it is stressful.  Sure it’s hard to to comprehend “forest” when you’re up close to a tree but never, ever in my life have I seen such clarity when it comes to information.

This Mercury retrograde period ends in a week and has seemed super slow and concentrated to me. Communications have been heavy, delayed or about delay as in, “I am going to be slow responding.”

It’s a feeling of not being able to process very quickly or even if the mind can get there, the fingers (or the mouth) are lagging.

We’re about halfway through Mercury’s retrograde period and it’s been very noticeable to me. Typically I have no problems writing the blog with Mercury Rx but this period has been a true strain and I chock it up to the Capricorn factor.

Usually it’s just a jumble and a do over here or there but with Mercury Rx in Capricorn, there has been an abundance of caution around what I say or don’t say. I’ve had to exercise restraint, take down posts, delete my comments and all of this is very unusual.

I feel frustrated over my inability to communicate my thoughts that have formed due accessing my deep emotion. I have made four attempts with four different people and can see I may as well be speaking French or Pig Latin or gibberish or something because no one seems to know what I’m talking about. Typically I come on here and tell people not to worry about Mercury retrograde but this period is particularly fraught. Notice I said “fraught” not “fraught with danger” and that statement right there reflects this energy in that is very assertive and controlling.
