yellowstone geyserThis is from 2007, before my husband I married. It’s relevant in relation to the Jupiter Uranus conjunction we’ve got on tap through the end of the year.  As a graphic example of what he is talking about, check what happened to the traffic on Astro Dispatch when Paris Hilton linked the site.

We’d met on the side of the road in another state.  He’d not yet moved to Colorado.

The soldier was on a rant which is a very common thing. I listen to him with half an ear except for when I decide to pay attention. I can’t do this all the time because the rants are frequent and they threaten my coveted good mood if I don’t filter.

He’s genius-like if you pay attention which for me is another reason not to. There is only so much I want to learn on a Saturday. But sometimes he pops off with something that utterly fascinates me.

Alcoholism, The Natural Logarithm And Brainstorming To Solve Problems

October 5th, 2008 @ 6:38 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

256px-logsvg.pngLast night the soldier and I were talking about a theory I’m developing where basically I wonder if the rules that apply to the percentage of alcoholics who get sober apply to other (or even all) problems and pathologies and anything else you might imagine.

Rather than call me crazy, he said I might be on to something and he mentioned the natural logarithm or the 80/20 rule. I might go into this if I can find verification of a key piece of information. I need to know how many alcoholics get and stay sober for life from a verifiable or reliable source, I am pretty sure the number is abysmally low.

Voice Of Taurus… With Extreme Aptitude For Mathematics

September 20th, 2008 @ 6:43 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

ice-cream.jpgSome of you know the soldier likes math a lot. He has taken every math course that is taught and some years ago started working on his own math… his theory of math. Today I came in from a walk and he announced he’d discovered a phenomenon.

He sat me down and showed me his calculations, he was both giddy and scared. “Too bad this is going to go to waste,” he said.

“Why?”

“Because I’m going to forget it. I’ve got nothing to do with this, I was just figuring these trusses and it came about.”

“You should write it down.” (swearing below the break)

mathThe soldier and I on the phone. He’s a Pisces rising, Moon Neptune conjunct in Scorpio in the 8th house:

“Well, P, I have no control. I can’t control it all, believe me I’ve tried. People are always wanting me to try to see things for them because they know I can do this but it doesn’t work that way and it never has. I’ve been doing this since I was 7 years old you know.” Continue reading The Soldier On His Psychic Abilities And Experiences
