Mercury (and Venus) in Virgo are tightly square Pluto and the rest of the sky is benign in comparison. Communications are manipulative but a negative connotation to that should not be assigned or assumed.

It is possible that a person’s manipulation of you is desirable (Venus) depending on the person. For example if your body is in a knot, a chiropractor can do some pretty nifty magic via manipulation. The other night the soldier said he preferred to avoid knowing my secrets, they disturb him. I wrote about that and some others commented they also preferred not to hear other people’s secrets.

Now I can understand because there are some things I don’t want to know anything about, details around my lover’s ex-lover would be an example but a bonafide secret? Man, what could be more tasty than that?

Yeah, I love knowing secrets and I am fortunate as people tell me plenty of them. I just love knowing things I am not supposed to know – Going places I am not supposed to go, etc.

Dear Sagittarius,

I looked at this man’s chart and I think you are dealing with a free agent here. He is so young I am not going to label him a “player”, but I think it would be wise for you to try to detach and think about who you are dealing rather than how you feel.

This man has obvious charisma. We see it in your story and we see it in his chart, with his stellium in Scorpio, part of a grand trine with his Moon in Cancer and Jupiter in Pisces.

And although he is only 21, I think he has figured this out at least to some extent. He plays in a band and if you keep your mouth shut, girls will dream you up… fantasize about you… and you will get all kinds of sex and various other sundries.

Now I don’t want to call him manipulative but he is putting that Scorpio tractor beam on you (and others no doubt) and then taking it off (withholding) – and next thing you know, he’s got you eating out of his hand. Are you getting pissed yet?

I think you will get pissed when you see he’s feeding off you and that’s cool because guess what? You have Venus, Mercury and Pluto in Scorpio yourself and you need to learn about these kinds of games. Don’t play them!

Well, you’re 19 so go ahead and experiment, who wouldn’t. But I think if you pay attention, you’ll find this method of operation ultimately leads you to nothing worth having.

I would say you met this man so you could learn about your own power… discover yourself. So use him right back, see? X-ray vision him because you are surely capable. Time to forget about him and see what you can do.

In honor of Mars squaring Venus today, here is the soldier (Mars) on beauty (Venus). He was talking to my daughter and I… this is awhile back when we visited him. I was really glad my daughter heard this by the way.

He was back on his rant on the trend towards hairlessness for men and women and the “just got out of Dachau” skinny look for women.

‘Now I’ll tell you what’s occurred to me,’ he said. “I’ve thought of doing this and maybe I should do this just to teach these idiots a thing or two.”

“Doing what?” my daughter asked.

“Oh, well I’d have to get a job a Vogue or something like that. Vogue, the magazine I mean. I’d sure hate to be around those kind of people but I could do it I had to,” he said with a groan. “I suppose…”

He stopped to let us laugh.

“But anyway I’d get in there some how. I’d get a job. I’m sure I could do this and once I was in there I’d start convincing them of things.”

“Things like what?” I asked.

“Well you know those African women with the rings around their necks? You know. Those rings they put on to make their necks long?”

“Yeah,” we both said.

“Well first I would convince them this was coming back. It’s the new style. This neck thing; it’s the thing to do.”

We both laughed.

“But I would also convince them they were going to have to do like the Chinese women as well. They were going to have to bind their feet so they wouldn’t grow.”

We snorted.

“Yep, it’s the new fashion. To be stylish, you have to have rings around your neck, bound feet and one more thing. Let’s see. Oh, I know. I could have them hang something heavy from their earlobes. Bricks or something. Something hanging from your earlobes so they’d be all stretched out like… I think it was some Indians who did that so we could do that again. We could have everyone do these three things and there you go. This could be the new beauty standard.”

Mosta and I laughed.

“And just give it a year or two and everyone would be walking around like this. And they’d look ridiculous of course which would be exactly what they deserve for letting someone convince them there was something wrong with them in the first place.”
