There was a time when being “not sensitive” was considered undesirable. If someone told you that you were not sensitive, it was an insult. It’s been said to me, and I always felt this was disrespectful to the individual.
Some people are more sensitive than others. This is a fact of life. Some people are probably born less emotionally sensitive, but others may become less sensitive due to their environment, their experiences, or even via their education.

My eye on the sky.
If you want to get the word out about something, it’s very favorable. If someone is spreading rumors about you, then not so much!

Astrology Meets Tarot
You feel trapped. One wrong move, you could be badly cut. You can’t see the likely outcome of any choice. All you know is you’re not on stable footing. You’d be glad to listen to your intuition to know how to move forward, if only your sense of what’s the best path didn’t shift every thirty seconds. Knowing you likely created the trap somehow that currently holds you is of precious little consolation. This, my friends, is Eight of Swords energy (and it’s going around).
Astrology Meets Tarot
I have been known to…uh, over communicate. Don’t call it lecturing, lest you wanna get decked. I prefer to call it “through.” I only try to be clear, accurate and complete. (Cough *Virgo-retentive* Cough) Sometimes, I forget to run it through the “Who really wants/needs/cares?” filter. Just because I run on details doesn’t mean rest of the world does. Just because I want to understand every nuance of every experience doesn’t mean that’s a universal preference. And just because I thought it (and maybe I’m even right about it, ‘cause I usually am) doesn’t mean somebody wants to hear it, for Goodness sakes. It’s not gifting to share my mildly compulsive tendencies with the world at large.
Astrology in Real Life…
I was thinking about the Jupiter rising in Gemini serial killer and it occurred to me the guy was German but he took an Italian name for an alias. The ascendant (rising) is your veneer and he’d want to be “international” right? And interesting?
But then it hit me… the psychology. This guy’s first name was Don. Don, then an Italian last name. Get it? He thinks he’s the Godfather. You know. Don Corelone…
With his 8th house packed I can only wonder if this was conscious. I bet it was and I bet he thought he was clever (Gemini).
