The Galactic Center

“There’s a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza; there’s a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, a hole.”
–Traditional Children’s Song

Galactic CenterThe Galactic Center is of course the very center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is located at 26 degrees Sagittarius, with a definite orb of 2 degrees and affectively even a few degrees further. Exactly at this center is a super-massive black hole. Black holes have such incredible mass that they also have a super-massive gravity field; they suck in.

Astrology Today: Full Moon Conjunct Pluto… And The Galactic Center

June 17th, 2008 @ 2:31 pm by Elsa

My eye on the sky

fullmoonseronik_m.jpgTomorrow’s is a major, major full moon. We have already been hit here.

What is happening in your life right now?

Specifically, let’s here from people (like me) with planets in the very late degrees of the mutable signs or very early degrees of Cardinal. What’s goin’ on?

zodiac braceletForget the little stuff. The Mars retrograde fleeting influence and the tra la la stuff. We’re on the other side of the Jupiter Pluto conjunction at the Galactic Center now and I have seen my life profoundly and irrevocably changed.

Personally, my conditions in 2008 do not even remotely resemble my conditions in 2007 and I have had no chance to discern what it all means.

Anyone else see drastic happenings the last few months of 2007? How are you faring?

Astrology Today – Upset Stomachs And The Release Of The Apple iPhone

June 29th, 2007 @ 4:44 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky…

apple iphoneThe Moon is in Sagittarius today and smushed between Jupiter and Pluto which will form a conjunction with the Galactic Center in December, 2007. If you have planets at the later degrees of the Mutable signs you are probably pretty twitchy today, especially with Uranus in aspect to the Moon as well.

You might say these are exciting times except the Moon (the tummy) does not really like to be excited, does it?

On other fronts, astrologer, Misty Kuceris wrote about today’s release of the iPhone. She feels this is a lousy day for a launch with Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto retrograde along with the Moon void-of-course and the Venus Saturn tango with Neptune. Can’t say I disagree. I guess time will tell.

Meet Astrology Blogger and Manly Man, Dharmaruci of AstroTableTalk

January 8th, 2007 @ 6:48 am by Elsa

Outtakes and Various Other Sundries…

astrology 2007Meet Dharmaruci, who keeps the astrology blog, AstroTableTalk.

AstroTableTalk is focused on political and mundane astrology. It is a serious blog, but Dharmaruci’s quirky personality and his manly manliness comes blasting through everything he writes making his blog a very enjoyable read.

He’s written a series of articles on Pluto’s conjunction with the Galactic Center and his latest is an excellent analysis of the current tension between Israel and Iran.

But he reveals himself as a man who appreciates women when he credits his partner for helping him evolve:

Dharmaruci writes:

“”I think that something that has prepared me for this transit has been living with my partner Vajramala for the last 7/8 years, as she has Moon in Pisces as part of a watery grand trine. So that Neptunian way of functioning has always come very naturally to her, despite having an Aries Sun. And that Neptunian way has a lot to do with trust and letting things unfold in their own way and not interfering or trying to ‘make’ things happen – which used to be my habitual way, and which no doubt would have led to a very painful Neptune transit now if I was still like that.”

And check the humility on this post he titled, “I WAS WR..WR..WR..WR….WRONG!” :

Dharmaruci writes:

Now this is going to sound like self-defense, and that’s because it is self-defense, but in my original posting I claimed that the N Korean Bomb was for real, and then an hour later I changed my mind – or rather, I allowed myself to be persuaded by someone else’s intuition that the bomb was fake, along with an exhortation to examine Neptune more closely.”

This stuff is appealing. I don’t know about you, but I like my astrologers to be human and Dharmaruci is exactly that.
