The full moon in Aries seems unpredictable to me but I’d bet on a positive outcome. It take place at the 29th degree of Aries which has got to be wobbly but the moon has significant help.

Aries is synonymous with independence and raw male energy. Along with the sun in Libra, Venus and Mercury oppose the Moon in the yin sign of Scorpio there is a strong male/female signature here. Battle of the sexes aside, there is a natural complement between men and women that is undeniable.

Ancient Wisdom for the Month Ahead

Hex 62 Year of the Rat – Hexagram #62  ”A Brief Transit” (Thunder over Wood) Baby steps are appropriate at this time.  Emotions are high, but that does not mean you should soar after them.  Allow yourself to feel, but spare unnecessary expenditures. Humble actions are enough.  Do not try to match the Tiger.

ten-cups-mars-piscesI always like watching full moons and new moons, because it’s an gentle nudge to realign and check my course. So when we have something happening in the sky like a full moon, I often ask for guidance related to the event. That’s what I did today. For me, the full moon is in my seventh house.

Today’s tarot is the Ten of Waves, also known as the Ten of Cups, i.e. the happy family card. The astrological association for this card is Mars in Pisces.

Ancient Wisdom for the Month Ahead

Hex 31 Year of the Rat- Hexagram #31  ”Wooing”  (Lake over Mountain) This is the image of a nourishing lake nestled at the summit of a mountain.  The lake creates a more inviting spot than a pointed peak. The same is true for an open mind. You attract people by being open to them.  Snakes and Sheep may oppose your views.  Hear them out.

Hex 34Year of the Ox- Hexagram #34  ”Great Strength”  (Thunder over Heaven) You are feeling powerful! This is the time to keep pushing. Do not waste this power by coasting. As you push, remember to mind your manners.  Do not tread on propriety just because you can, you will regret it later. Beware the Dragon.

Dixie’s Daily Tarot, July 25, 2010: Full Moon in Aquarius Takes a Stand

July 25th, 2010 @ 6:14 am by Dixie

Astrology Meets Tarot

LD_7wandsI like to ask tarot for focal points during astrological events. That full moon in Aquarius has some interesting possibilities.

The Seven of Wands is sometimes described as the “taking a stand” card. The traditional Rider Waite version demonstrates this concept clearly. This version, from the Legacy of the Divine, doesn’t feel quite so lonely. Here, the victor from the sixth of wands is preparing to step through a portal, a new journey. He’s not resting on his laurels. He’s on his way to new accomplishments, integrating what he’s learned in his previous travels.

The Moon is full in Aquarius around midnight on Sunday so we’re headed there between now and then.  I consider full moons to be times when the lights come on. This full moon is spectacular due what is there to be illuminated.

By that I mean it’s possible to turn on the lights and have all be calm. You can be reassured by what you see with all the dark corners lit up or it can be like this.

“This” is not good or bad but it is wondrous, staggering and the like and this is for good or ill.

July 25, and 26, 2010. These are days to mark on your calendar as we have 3 events in the space of hours, each remarkable.

First we have a full Moon in Aquarius so you know the drill with that. The lights go on and with the opposition between Leo and Aquarius, we usually have have one person dramatically diagnosing the other with narcissism while oblivious to their own attention getting behavior.

I always enjoy days like this but this time there are other things going on that are troubling.

Continue reading Transit Watch: July 25-26, 2010 – Yow! Full Moon In Aquarius… And Then Some!

This is a day to watch.

Uranus leaves Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac and the first sign, Aries which completes an 84 year cycle.

Meanwhile the Moon is full in Sagittarius so the lights are on.

Ruler Jupiter is conjunct Uranus and opposing Saturn so some shocking truths may come to light.

While I can think of lots of drastic stuff, I tend to see this an unparalleled opportunity to have an exciting new start… subject to the drag that reality (Saturn) creates.

Without Saturn you can’t ground the vision anyway, so make that an exciting new start for real and have yourself a great day!
