From 2008… updated

I showed my husband the 2008 Men’s fashion for spring/summer… the outfit pictured is mild (Check it out) but you can see in what direction things continue to head.

“That does it!” he said. “I am going to have to put together my own show with my own clothes. It’ll be great, P. I’ll have these big pots of molten steel pouring out of buckets as a backdrop.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. And I’ll have all this heavy equipment around. You know. Big hunks of steel. Big machines and jagged shit. Tractors and stuff. Maybe a machine gun or two.”

“I see.”

(FROM 2008) The soldier and I continued to discuss his targeting of a woman he’s interested in.

“You could probably get any woman you wanted if you put your mind to it,” I said.

“The hell! You’re the only woman in the world who wants a man like me. No women are interested in me but you. Women don’t want some man who runs around gonna kick everyone’s ass all the time,” he said. “Women don’t want anything to do with a man like me.”

“Yeah? Well what do they want?”

“I don’t know. They want a man who cries, I guess. They want their men to cry all the time.”

I just stared because I think by and large this is true.

Back from court today, nothing ever gets done. It occurs to me that ‘effective” is out / frowned up and ineffectual rules the day.

Astrologically this would be seen via the denial of Mars (raw male energy). I am talking about the feminization of men. I am talking about the idea everyone in the class gets a trophy, no need to compete! I made that video stating I would shoot anyone who came into my house dead on the spot and people were appalled. Apparently what is in vogue is to lie down for the rapist?

“I wrote about that on my blog,” I told the soldier. “Again. I wrote about women feminizing men this is and guess what some of the women said?”

“What?”

“They like feminized men because they have more in common with them.”

“They want to have more in common with men? Why not quit waxing their mustaches then?”

Anyone want to field this?

The soldier gets notions at times, this is what I have decided to call them. He gets to thinking something and reacts to it emotionally. He would deny this completely but whatever. I have many examples and recently he got the idea I was mothering him.

I explained to him I barely mother my children, never mind a man. I have no idea why I can pour and serve him 700 cups of coffee without incident only to serve him cup #701 and have him accuse me of “mothering him” but this is exactly what happened and he reacted emotionally…

“Yeah, my whole world has gone to hell. Men are feminized now, P. They’re like girls or something.”

I laughed.

“Yeah, I see these men on the runway, swishin’ around and I think what the hell is that? Why don’t they put someone like me on the runway? I’ll do it. I’ll go out there on the runway as a man… a regular plain man.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. And I don’t want any of that techno music playing either. Hell no. They can play bad to the bone or somethin’ like that.”

“Okay,” I said snorting.

“Yeah, I’ll just walk out there in some dungarees or something. Just some regular pants, a plain shirt and I’ll do my regular walk. You know how I walk. Like a bulldog.
