We were talking about his remark around the idea a person should be able to explain something to a small child if they really understood it and soldier who has studied Einstein extensively said that he himself failed at this.

“Yeah, he tried it. He tried to explain things to the kids in his family but they didn’t know what the hell he was talking about. They just acted like they did because their parents told them to.”
