Vivian and I rooted for each other but from a distance because when you are in a whirlwind, sort of vortex it takes everything you have. You just can’t get too near another person’s whirlwind vortex or you’ll get sucked up but you can connect via the eyes so this is what we did and time passed the way it does.

Eventually the soldier moved here and Vivian and I had more in common than ever. We were both with men we loved, who we met when we were teenagers. Both men were ultra-masculine and devoted to their families and while neither of our daughters were healed things had calmed dramatically. We had a few months like that and then Vivian told me her husband had lost his job.

Astrology, The US Economy, Composite Charts And A Person’s Destiny

Astrology in real life

destinylabel01shaded.jpgL. asked on How Popular Is Real Love Anyway?

“I’ve wondered in general about the individual challenging aspects that one is supposed to be able to work with somehow, and whether they can equally be ‘worked with’ positively in a composite.”

I think everything can be worked with positively but many people don’t like to work! Consequently like make little of their gifts never mind their hardship and the consequences for this increase exponentially. This is as true for the individual as it is for the collective and I’d offer the current state of the US economy as proof. But aside from that, this comment made me take a look at the composite chart of the soldier and I which believe it or not, I’ve not bothered to do since getting proper birth data for him.

Pluto In Capricorn – Recession, Hunger, Sense Of Responsibility…

July 11th, 2008 @ 3:25 pm by Elsa

Ask the collective

netbank_logo.jpgLast week I wrote about the powerful feelings of insecurity I expect to be unleashed while Pluto transits Capricorn. Some will be on the front line or have an early heads up as to what looms and I imagine I am going to be one of them based not only on my chart but on the events that have already transpired.

For example, back in September, 2007, my bank failed. I had been a Netbank customer since their inception pretty much and one day I signed on and found the bank had failed. Hmm, I thought. So this is what that feels like.

hula_hoop.jpg“It’s going to go back to when only rich people can fly,” I told the soldier.  “Remember when it was like that?”  I had just read this article:
Continental becomes latest U.S. airline to cut service

Basically they are grounding planes, laying off employees and raising prices simultaneously.

“It will only stay that way so long,” he said. “And then it will go right back the way it was, just as soon as people quit flying and there are not enough rich people to sustain them.”

“I don’t know about that. Eventually yes but it may be a long time recovering. I don’t think it’s that easy to get your customer back once you lose them. People are funny with their habits. Once they change them, you’ve got a problem.”

Open Question: The US Economy In 2008

January 31st, 2008 @ 9:16 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

zodiac braceletAlthera asked this excellent question:

“So now, the real question that’s been on my mind recently is – so what would you do if it was 2008 and you were an American and the unsinkable economy looked to be taking on water… what would YOU do?”

Althera – Having a lot of Capricorn, I think about things like this a lot and am already doing exactly what I would be doing. That is, I am living as well as I can one day at a time and I am broadcasting as much as possible. My intention is to keep doing these two things for as long as possible regardless of what occurs. I see this as a point of integrity.

I also think it’s helpful to focus on your competence rather than invest in your fears. I managed yesterday, I am managing today and I will most likely manage tomorrow regardless what tomorrow brings.

Bottom line, I am going to be me until I die and that is really all I need to know.

Anyone else?

street.comThis is a Saturn Neptune headline if I have ever seen one. From TheStreet.com:
Jeremy Grantham: All the World’s a Bubble

Brett Arends writes:

“How high will the Dow go? 15,000? 20,000?

How about 36,000?

While euphoria sweeps stock markets here and worldwide, there are at least a few voices of dissent.

One, unsurprisingly, is legendary value investor Jeremy Grantham — the man Dick Cheney, plus a lot of other rich people, trusts with his money.
-snip-
Grantham says we are now seeing the first worldwide bubble in history covering all asset classes.

Everything is in bubble territory, he says.

Everything.”

Do you agree? Think we’re living in a hologram? Think we’re in denial and that the veil is going to drop?
