Neptune And Chiron: The Damaged Dreamer

May 8th, 2011 @ 6:13 pm by Satori

“Let’s be friends!”
–Barney

nightmare moonAlmost everyone has bad dreams. Scientists say everyone dreams; not remembering your dreams is not proof that you don’t dream. One theory of dreaming, probably the most accepted, is that it is your subconscious’ way of sorting through the input rattling around in your head. In a way it is emotional, psychological collating and filing. Bits that are stressful or fear-based can result in nightmares.

Trigrams, Dream Syntax and Hexagram 61 by Nota

December 2nd, 2010 @ 7:00 am by Nota

Notes from the Oracle

hex 61 Early this morning I had a dream. I was riding my bicycle across a convex wooden bridge. There were clouds floating below.

A friend approached me (A Scorpio – in case you were curious) and asked what I had in my hands. I looked down to see that I was shuffling a set of cards “It’s the I Ching” I said. He asked me to do a reading for him.

Neptune And Dreams by Satori

“Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.”
–Edgar Cayce

Salvador Dali, Neptune DreamsI have a somewhat psychic, highly empathic chart. Much as I love to talk about myself, and I do, at great length, I am loathe to expose that part because it can sound so foo-foo-fairy. But I have these dreams, dreams that don’t entirely feel like they are mine. It’s a feeling I’m left with, a feeling about an energy outside myself but to which I am connected.

Pluto Transit To The Moon – Mine: Dream

August 25th, 2008 @ 5:23 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

subconscious.jpg There is a slight bubble in the linoleum on my kitchen (Moon). Last night I dreamed it was moving. It was sort of bubbling up further and eventually I could see it was someone’s back pushing up from the crawlspace below trying to break through the floor.

As soon as I had that thought, I could see this was for sure the case and further, the floor was so bowed they were definitely going to be successful.

Scorpio And Their Signs And Omens Redux – Dream Symbol Interpretation

April 25th, 2008 @ 2:50 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

cell_phone.jpgOkay, so the soldier quit his job and his boss is continued to call him… four phone calls in the last 2 hours, wants him to come back and is inducing guilt.

Meanwhile a dove landed on the windshield of his rental car and stared at him which he thinks is an omen.

I agree but think a dove is an universal symbol of something positive. I don’t think there is a negative interpretation out there but this is not my business so I thought I would get on here an ask:

If a dove lands on your window and look at you it means…

Thanks.

Oh! And it was not a white dove, but a dove dove. It was an Iowa dove..

grand crossMy son has a grand cross in his solar return this year and has really been under the gun. He surprised me last night when he said, “Ever since my birthday…”

He went on to explain how particularly hard things have been since he turned 8 and all I could do was nod and commiserate because facts are facts. He then surprised me by telling me he had been having prophetic dreams.

He said he dreams something and two days later the things happens. He expressed a sort of ambivalence over the situation. On one hand I think he knows this is special, on the other hand most of the things he is dreaming that wind up happening are bad. Pretty heavy for an 8 year old, I’d say. Coping With The Current Saturn Neptune Opposition: Bad Dreams and Hologram Fear

September 13th, 2006 @ 10:59 am by Elsa

Blogs regarding the Saturn Neptune opposition in the sky start here: It’s a Hall Of Mirrors and We’re All In It

dali one second before waking flight beeSo one of the things I’ve learned over the course of my lifetime as a Saturn Neptune type is what you are afraid is going to happen is not what is going to happen. For example, say you’re 12th house Saturn and you have some awful dream. The first thing you think is oh, fuck me! That’s going to come true.

WRONG.

Your dreams or the fears that constellate seemingly out of nowhere virtually never happen. It is what you are afraid is going to happen, not what is really going to happen. And don’t get me wrong here.

This does not mean nothing bad is going to happen. In fact, often enough the thing that happens is much, much worse than whatever it was you feared! ::smiles::

I’m sorry but it’s true. I have had things be so incredibly bad there is no imagining worse and then it gets not only worse, but much worse! How many degrees of wretched can there be? I have wondered this many times.

But you don’t have worry about that either. There are (Saturn Neptune) ways to deal with… anything. And I am going to write about them. But at moment I am just trying to make this point because it’s key:

duct tapeSaturn Neptune fears are not real. The fears that come in on the tide are hologram. And this is very good to know if you suffer this way… which pretty much all of us are these days with these two planets opposing in the sky. And think about this in the news.

Remember when they told up to use duct tape against chemical weapons after 9-11? And people ran out and bought all the duct tape. And just think how squirrel-ey that is. It’s a hologram (Neptune) defense (Saturn) against a hologram fear!

And everyone stored water too. Surely “they” aka the nebulous (Neptune) oppressors (Saturn) will poison the water supply…

And is this what happened? No.

So you get my point. The thing you are so scared is going to happen is not going to happen. You are much more apt to hurt yourself, slipping on a stool while duct taping your window shut than you are from a chemical weapon seeping into your specific home! So what’s that mean?

What it means is when the fears come, or the dreams, it does wonders to be armed with this information. No more wondering, “Is this dream real?” Instead you can remind yourself:

“That is what I am afraid is going to happen, not what is going to happen…”

And I will tell you right now, this is no magic bullet. But it will help. And I’d know.

See, someone told me this about 20 years ago. And there is no end the ache I have been spared. When I have a bad dream, I dismiss it immediately. I erase it (Neptune) rather than invest in it (Saturn). Because I have learned the things I am afraid are going to happen are exactly what never does! Ever!

And this leaves me to deal with what does happen, or is happening. It leaves me to deal with reality (Saturn)… in a Neptune way of course. ;-)

So what about you? Do your dreams scare you? Are you sometimes overwhelmed with fear and feelings (Neptune) of insecurity (Saturn)? Especially lately? How do you deal?
