dora-1a.jpg“You’ve met your match now, sneaky ass dog,” the soldier said looking down at Dora’s poker face.

“Who?” I asked.

“You and her. She’s a sneaky dog.”

“I know, I’ve seen her. She’s pullin’ all kinds of crap.”

“Yeah, you’re in the right family now,” he said, addressing Dora directly. “These people are going to be on to you.”

Dora stared poker-faced.

Dora’s Big Announcement

September 1st, 2008 @ 8:56 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

dora-wolverine.jpgShe’d like you to call her, Wolverine now.”

So says the soldier.

Apparently Dora is done being Bette Davis and she’d like to be recognized as Wolverine from now on.

Personally, I think someone has Neptune on her Midheaven. ;)

Neptune On The Midheaven: Vulnerability Or Lack Of…

September 1st, 2008 @ 2:27 pm by Elsa

Commenting on the comments

dora-dog.jpgRainie writes on Randomness of War:

“Elsa, I found you a few years ago from Xanga. I’ve been hooked since then and along the way, came to care about what’s going on with you…”

and

“I think it has to do with being a strong personality; people don’t realize you have vulnerabilities so they blast away.”

Dora – Her Pain and Her Poorness

August 22nd, 2008 @ 9:45 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

dora11.jpg“Dora was on my blog again today,” I told the soldier last night.

“What about her?”

“Oh her stories. How she climbed up on your chest, got on your with her scabby body.”

“P, no! Don’t tell people that.”

“Why not?”

“Dora is embarrassed of that. That’ll embarrass her. She wants her story to start now. She wants it to start from today.. her life today. She doesn’t want people to know that other stuff.”

Astrology And Pluto: Dora – Part Of The Animal Kingdom

August 21st, 2008 @ 6:01 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

dora1.jpgI am always going on about feeling akin to an animal. I operate on instinct rather than intellect, as a matter of fact I am not even sure I have an intellect. Perhaps I have just a crotch and that’s all but in whatever case around here we do not deny the unseen world. We acknowledge it drives us and Dora is part of it. People who live low to the ground like this recognize each other the same way elevated people recognize each other, our lives are just a lot more gritty. (swearing below the break)

Dora The Wonder Dog

August 20th, 2008 @ 12:34 pm by Elsa

Outtakes…

dora-odd.jpgA few weeks ago…

“Yeah, she is a really good dog,” I said regarding, Dora.

“Yeah she is,” the soldier said. “Except for when she overturned that canoe that time.”

“She did that?”

“Hell ye she did that. I thought she’d be okay out on the river but I guess not. She freaked out and overturned the canoe. I went into the water and got soaking wet.”

“What did she do?”

“Swam to shore, got there, ran back to the camper.”

Speaking Of Projecting In Relationship, You Don’t Even Need To Be Human

August 19th, 2008 @ 6:50 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

dora-standing.jpgThe soldier was going on about Dora and her various adventures. He will tell you point blank, she is a street dog and you should never forget it.

“She’s very manipulative, P. That’s how she got where she is. That dog right there is the cat that ate the canary. You’ve got to watch her ass because she’s got her poor little ol’ street dog routine down to a T and she’ll use it to work ya.”

I thought about his Southern accented hayseed routine and smiled.

“Yeah, P, that dog has pulled all kinds of shit. One time she even got thrown in jail at Fort —.”

“She did? You did that yourself didn’t you? Didn’t you get thrown in jail at Fort —?”

He looked sort of stunned and shut right up. P laughed her ass off.

Pluto Transit To The Moon – Mine: His Mother

August 3rd, 2008 @ 5:40 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

moon symbolThe soldier’s mother has been part of my Pluto Moon transit, big time. She surfaced with the pictures she had kept of me in that box of “things that made her son a man” when Pluto was station on my Moon the first time.  The release of those pictures after 28 years triggered all kinds of events that has led up here.

So yesterday, it occurred to me I ought to replace Dora’s dog tag and boy you wouldn’t believe my shock when I squatted down to read a current address on the tag. Uh huh.

The soldier’s mother has had Dora for the last several months and took the care and time and trouble to get her a new tag before putting her on a plane. I don’t know about you but I think this is extraordinary and thought I ought to say so. I mean, who does this kind of thing? No one I know.

I emailed her to say thanks and I thanked her for her her oldest son while I was at it. He is such a good man and it felt good to be in this position, that is to feel gratitude and have her there to let her know.

The poor soldier doesn’t know what to do with a crying, P but whatever.

Astrology Today – Meet Dora The Explorer

July 21st, 2008 @ 2:36 pm by Elsa

My eye on the sky

dora-sm.jpgThe Moon is in Pisces opposed by Saturn and Mars in Virgo and I bet I’m not the only one who feels drained. The soldier’s dog, Dora arrived over the weekend and she personifies this energy.

She is a small animal (Virgo), old (Saturn) and beat up (Mars). She is googly-eyed, blind in one eye, mostly blind in the other, mostly deaf and her body hurts in so many ways and places it’s best not to pick her up.

She is missing hair in places, walks crooked due being hit by something at some point in her life and looks like a gremlin and she makes you feel (Moon in Pisces).

Remember Vidroid’s hole to the center of the earth? We are going to have to fill it in because she keep falling into it (blindness), everything on her is crooked and in whatever case we are really glad to have her. It feels like an honor somehow and definitely a reminder that maybe your life is not that bad after all.
