The full Moon brought some chaos but the Mercury Pluto conjunction stole the show around here starting with Dora, a Mercury-ruled small animal who did one hell of a “little dog dying” impression last night.

Yeah, Dora has been sick over the last couple days and as you know she is old, blind and has broken bones that have healed wrong but last night… well she really looked SICK, so much so that Vidroid burst into tears at the sight of her which prompted a conversation (Mercury) about death (Pluto).

“Yeah. Yeah, I guess I am, did she do that in there?”

“She liked it, that’s for sure. She saw all kinds of dogs in there - never seen anything like it in her life.”

The Moon in Virgo is conjunct Saturn heading into a square aspect with Pluto, on the brink of dropping into Capricorn and to say people are melancholy is an understatement.

Venus and Jupiter are also in Capricorn and simply put, this is waaaaaaaaay too much reality for most.

I will try to create a diversion on this blog and while I’m at it I want to prop up Leo again… some more.

We need entertainment. We need art and that is just all there is to it.

We need people like Dora so that we can have a chuckle in the middle of all this. If you can make someone laugh today, by God you should.

Remember how I told you the soldier’s mother got Dora new tags with this address before she put her on a plane? That kind of thoughtfulness is not just rare, it’s in it’s own class.

Today I got a box addressed to Dora Dog in care of me. Inside were Dora’s winter outfits… leopard spots no less. Also included was her leash and some medication but catch the subtlety here. She addressed the box to me.

Dora is visibly stressed over the soldier’s sudden (Uranus) disappearance. It is blatantly obvious.

Last night she slept in the bedroom with me which she has never done. She usually sleeps on the couch and she did move in there when she got cold at some point during the night and then this morning she took one look around and went back to sleep (escape / Pisces).

But now she is up and very jumpy (Uranus). She just doesn’t know that the hell is going on and pretty soon Vidroid and Cluck will be home.

“I’m going to call up Disney and tell them I’ve got Dora Montana here. Not Hannah Montana, Dora Montana. And they can play that song, everybody makes mistakes,” he sang. “Everybody has those days!”

I laughed.

“Yeah and the can show Dora walking into things… bumping and walls and stuff…”

Dora got her nails clipped today and saw a doc. She just saw a doc but she’s old and has to go all the time and sure enough she has a disease.
