Tam writes regarding my destiny:

“Elsa if you didn’t have the experiences that you have maybe you wouldn’t be able to help people the way that you do. Just a thought.”

Tam – I agree but there is more than that going on. This “helping people” is actually…. well, I guess you could say it’s my day job.

This is like my bartending job when I was a kid. I was 15 when I started and I would do that job. I would work my shift and I was good at it. Mostly I told jokes the whole time (Jupiter rising) but it had very little (almost nothing) to do with the reality that was my life. It is sort of like keeping a plate spinning while you do the rest of your life.

This blog is a plate I spin for reasons I barely understand and what I do understand may be fraught with errors even though I try my best.

I chalk this up to Saturn/Neptune. You can’t draw lines around this stuff because as soon as you do, they are gone.

For example am I here to help people or merely to bother them?

Don’t ask me, I have no idea.

“I don’t mind being compared to her (the Little Match Girl),” I told satori. “I get it. There is no telling what is going to happen to me. Anything could happen to me, this must be obvious to people wouldn’t you say?”

“No, it’s not obvious. I would not say it’s obvious. You’re more like the elephant people have a hold of in the dark and they’re trying to figure out what it is.”

“Oh. Oh……..:

“Do you know the analogy?”

“I do. Well, crap. Okay so it’s not obvious. But it is obvious to me. I feel like I am a rogue wave and there is nothing I can do about. Things just keep happening that just don’t happen to other people and I can’t believe it will ever stop.”

“No.”

“Well there has to be a reason and we don’t know what it is.”

I can see my life plain as day in mine. I don’t know what I would do without astrology. The chart is like landed dice… there it is – that’s the roll. It’s enorm

The soldier and I over the weekend. He’s a Pisces rising…

“So what do you think it means that you and I wind up here almost 30 years later?” I asked. We were walking back from convenience store eating life savers. “Exactly what do you make of it?”

“Well you can make choices in your life. And the choices can be right at the time or some of them can be wrong but no matter what you do you can’t escape your destiny.”

“We’re destined?”

“Well yeah, don’t you think? I think us being here together proves you can’t escape your destiny. I don’t care what we do, we’re not getting out of this. For example, you can kick me out again or I can leave you I suppose. But even if this is what we do I still think we’ll wind up in an old folks home together.”

“So then we’re 90 and we look at each other and think why didn’t we get this together when we were in our 40′s? Or in our teens?”

“Yeah. Except it doesn’t matter. P. It doesn’t matter what we do. We’re going to be together for a billion years anyway.”

“A billion? You actually think that?”

“Me and you? A billion years? Yeah, I think that. We have all the time in the world. This world or any other worlds that might be out there”

As soon as he said this I realized it was applicable to anything and everything. For example, what if you thought you had a billion years to solve your problem? Would you relax about it? And if you relaxed might the problem be easier to solve or even solve itself?

What if instead of a month, you had a billion years to lose that last 10 pounds? Would this help you?

Dear Aquarian,

What a terrific question – and better yet, the fact that you are asking it means there is hope for you! So let me talk to that Jupiter Saturn conjunction in Libra of yours.

First, you’re a born preacher. You’re someone ahead of your time with something to say and a way to say it. However humility factors here, as does maturity and a wide perspective. And the fact is, there is no such thing as “always right” or even as “right”. Because there is always going to be someone out there who can argue against you and win. A bigger fish, yes? There is always a bigger fish, or as the AMF used to say (a fellow Aquarian), ‘You’re not the only genius out there”.

And judging by your chart, chances are that you will someday have a platform for your teaching. So considering the large shoes you were born with, do you really want to spend you time bickering with your husband?

I didn’t think so. Stop it and stop it now. You are here to serve humanity, not here to micromanage your husband. Step up.
