Jessica – Maybe. I did see him again but we had a falling out over the pope. Yep. The pope was coming to Denver and I don’t know what I said but it was something and he flipped right out. He had a young daughter and I guess he was auditioning me for the mother role.

No doubt he thought he was a better mother than the real mother but anyway, I made some remark about the pope and he told me point blank that he was not sure he could have his daughter exposed to someone like me. ::smiles::

In other words I was not the Catholic girl he was looking for, is this a song as old as time or what?

Neptune on the midheaven (square Venus) strikes again. People are always trying to marrymy hologram, I swear. It’s pretty funny when you think about it. The universe dresses you up as this Catholic girl character but neglects to give you a script.

Today the soldier informed me that he was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus.  I knew he was in the Knights and in fact has attended church wearing a sword at one time or the other but had no idea there were degrees. As a matter of fact, I don’t know exactly what the Knights of Columbus is other than the collect money outside the grocery stores around here on occasion and they look at your ass when you go by.

In fact, back in 2003 when the soldier first told me he was in the Knights I informed him of this:

The decoy Catholic (me) attended Mass again today and cried throughout. I am talking snot-problem level crying.  ::rolls eyes::

I also fought with the soldier about it; we have a very rocky road here that neither of us can get off though we both threaten.

“If we get off, we’re just going to have to get right back on,” I said.

‘Well I know that!  But at least we could have a break – go a couple Sundays without a fight,’ he said.

“You have to do this because of God,’ I said.  “I think you do.”

“Well yeah. I had to do Special Forces because of God too; it doesn’t mean I have to like it.”

Exhausted from 3 hours on intense emoting, I waved my hand to dismiss and we both smiled.

I don’t dare break it to him but Saturn won’t be in my 9^th house (religion) for 2 years.

Now the soldier would tell you that I am a Catholic on account of I was baptized and while he is technically correct, I have not 1 minute of Catholic training so it leaves me at a loss when I attend Mass with him as I did today for the second time.

I am inordinately disoriented from the moment I walk in the door for an endless list of (Pluto Moon) reasons, something the soldier cannot understand for the same reasons he does not understand other things – That is that I am not him. In whatever case he asked me what I thought as we were leaving the church today and I told him that I had about a million impressions.

“For example, they start singing and I start crying,” I said. (Venus Neptune is famous for sensitivity to music) “And then I look over and see the real Catholic and she is putting on lipstick. To me that is surreal and I have no way of knowing what to make of it.”
