I went to court yesterday with this song in my head, “Hi ho! Hi ho! It’s off to court I go!” Not that I think court is fun… it is more like heading off to your own execution but since it’s inevitable and all…

I expected things to go well for a myriad of reasons. One of them was yesterday’s grand trine in Earth which aspect my chart nicely and sure enough…

Well if you go to court for one of those cattle call things where you have no idea when your case will be called and your case is called first – then this is luck, yes? But my luck was even better than that as my case was not actually called at all.

Instead all the parties had a pow-wow and decided we all agreed to this, this and that and as soon as the judge walked in the prosecutor has him sign the order… we have another court date in 90 days. And I have to tell you this felt like a payday. I felt I was being paid for my ability to get along with people which is a comment on the Aries/ Libra axis.

The verse (from Kenny Rogers, “The Gambler”) goes:

“You got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em,
Know when to walk away and know when to run…”

Fight or compromise? Which function is most in line with your nature? Got Aries? What about Libra?

Speaking of information coming to you in strange ways… a few weeks ago, I was talking to the soldier…

“Yeah, well I just told her,” I said. “I told her straight out. I told her up and down and the whole way it was… I pretty much told her everything I knew.”

“What did she say?”

“Well she was astounded as she’s been all along. She’s been on to me since the beginning. She knows I know what I’m talking about and she’s trying to learn all she can. She’s got ears wide open. She’s a young woman and she knows she’s got the case… well this is probably the case of her career. Her entire career, she’ll never see this again.”

Getting beat up in many ways by Saturn’s opposition to Venus in Pisces however I can see how some things are getting straightened out. Now I have Venus in aspect to Neptune which would indicate tastes that morph and the relationship I am in has a lot to say about the direction. I have changed relationships in the last year or so but my wardrobe has not caught up. Venus Neptune is notorious for confusion and under the current sky I feel pressured to focus on this and figure it out (Saturn in Virgo).

“Well I have no need to look that good anymore. I was walking around like I belonged in a painting all the time and while I am glad I learned to do that, I just don’t have the need anymore.”

“I understand.”

I was talking about my days with the AMF who was a painter. He really taught me how to put clothes together.

“What did she say?” he asked.

“Didn’t believe me, I don’t think. I just started initialing the shit… just going down the list signing. I really do know what this is, I said. I tried to reassure her. I told her I’d already done this… done this, been kicked out and now I’m doing it again. I have seen this stuff before, I said.”

I was sitting in court in my plainclothes scoping the others. There was a woman there with enormous tattooed breasts, exposed nearly to the edge of her nipples with a leopard print jacket on to keep the rest of her warm, so that was pretty funny. My hearing was at 3 , but I had arrived 15 minutes early, teacher’s pet style.I watched as other people were called. Hours went by but I was never really bored. People are freaks as I am sure I don’t have to tell you so they are fun to watch.

I am a people too, so also a freak and I wondered of and on if I had anyone fooled. As I wrote yesterday, I meant to be tricky… so appear bland as possible and I wondered if I were actually being successful. Did the judge look at me and think, “She’s plain?” Or did he think, “I just know that one over there has green clogs in her closet and she’s in here kissing ass…”

I have to go to court today and mind Saturn in Virgo which says, “Don’t blather”. This is against my nature with Jupiter rising, never mind Venus in Leo which is prone to drama but I have an angle.

In honor of today’s Moon in Leo, I am going “act” as if I am not a dramatic person but a muted, sort of colorless one.

Right now I am trying to tone down my clothing and believe me this is a challenge. I can’t believe I can’t wear my green clogs however I know I can’t wear my green clogs.

This is the same judge whose court I missed last time (I think). I am pretty motivated to make a smooth transition here, dang.

Judges generally like me and no wonder. Look how much trouble I go to for them.

Today, I was supposed to be court at 8:30 AM but no one bothered to mention this to me so as it turned out at 8:30 AM I was in my car.  I have Mars conjunct Mercury (car) in Libra in the 9th (court) and I have had way more than my share of experience in court.

There was some jockeying around. The woman who dropped the ball on notifying me is the same one I confronted in that meeting (The Whirlwind) and she tried to offload the responsibility for this onto me, but no dice. I wound up testifying from my car via my cell phone with the judge’s blessing.

“Yes, your honor I can hear you now. My son is in the car with me and he is getting a pen from my purse so he can take notes…”

ha ha ha

The soldier thinks this is a very small world. He has a habit of running into people in his past in the strangest places. He particularly tends to collide with people who have done him wrong, frequently long after they’ve forgotten him and he said they are always very surprised how acute his memory is. (Taurus / Scorpio)

And listening to him, I could believe it though I am not sure I can say I have had the same experience. But I think you get to a certain age and you figure out some things that if not true for all, are true for you. So in his case, due his experience, he always takes care how he treats people as he has every expectation he will see them again… “in one country or another.” And I think this very interesting.

Not necessarily what is true for him but figuring out what is true for each individual. Because whatever it is that repeats like this is going to show in a chart and surely you are meant to glean it and learn from it.

For example I’ve been dragged to court many times. I never lose but I never win either. There is either nothing to win (except for you don’t lose) or in some cases I might be able to counter-sue but don’t bother. So there is no benefit to this outside of coming to understand that I am an ultra-credible person. And if I weren’t could I write this blog? Probably not. So what do you call the opposite of collateral damage? Collateral benefit? I have that.

So I’ve written this before and I don’t care. I am going to keep writing it because I think it’s so incredibly important and worthwhile to your life if you can pick out these patterns. Is there anything that happens to you (for good or ill) so many times you know it has to be more than coincidence?
