I cop to being really uncomfortable right now. Pluto is station in hard aspect to my natal Mercury and I just know all kinds of dark and/ot dire stuff.  I sense it, or I just know it or whatever.

I feel bad handling this. It’s enough to make me sick because my natal Mercury in in Libra. I can’t tell you how much I like things to be nice.  This is embarrassing to my 8th house but it’s just the way it is. I turn my head when some movie person gets stabbed and I’m sure I always will.

I was talking to client who is an investigator of some type. He’s the brain who digs in the records and discovers your petty (or not so petty) bullshit you’ve been pulling. I can just imagine the people he busts. They’d go right into denial until someone shows them the tape and they realize it’s game over.

Tiger Woods is a classic example of this. How he could have thought (on any level) that he’s be able to get away with what he was doing is beyond me. I just don’t think you can be as good at something as he was and be an idiot so this is mysterious to me.

From 2010 – One thing that baffles me is how people can treat others horribly and then come back around and expect to be welcomed.  It’s got to be part of the whole entitlement thing.  Having grown up with the idea I was not entitled to anything, I have a real hard time trying to understand the mindset.

I grew up deprived and because of this, some think my perspective is skewed. I think it’s their perspective that is skewed. If you don’t study, then you flunk. If you don’t work, you get fired. If you treat people poorly, they’ll eventually not want anything to do with you.

Annalisa and I have a lot of similarities in spite of our differences. I told her I thought she was seen as the more compassionate between us, after all she’s a Pisces. I said I wasn’t sure this was accurate and she agreed.

There are a lot of in a terrible bind of one kind or another.  I asked her if there was a limit to her compassion, this is something we’ve discussed on this blog before. She said in many cases she felt people had made their problem or “dug their own grave” as she put it.

It seems every couple years I ask this question in some form: Does what go around come around?  Is comeuppance guaranteed? Do some people get a pass in life?’

I was prompted to think about this a number of years ago when I attended a local NCGR meeting. The gal presenting made a compelling argument that some (evil) people did get away and get off scot free.  She chocked the “evil” in the chart to three asteroids, Lucifer was one and I forget the others. Occasionally we talk about comeuppance on this blog. (tag - comeuppance) I think it’s a great topic. My personal views are not well developed here but I am surrounded by people who do have strong feelings about this.

Most people I know believe that what goes around comes around where I stay on the fence.  I think they’re probably right but I try to base things on my personal experience and I just don’t have enough evidence. I can’t even say that I hope what goes around comes around because I have seen people do such horrible things, it’s scares me to think what they may be facing down the line.

In theory most people want to see people get their comeuppance but they also want control over it. I suppose this is primarily a Saturn function though I could argue some other angles.

The fact is people think they can break the rules be them social or societal and boy are they surprised when someone breaks the rules on them. They think THEY are the force of nature, see. They are the special one who can do whatever they want while the people around them be decent and I have a story to illustrate.

One time the soldier pulled into a video store parking lot, went inside to rent a movie. He came out to find some kid had gone through the parking lot with his knife and slashed tires on four vehicles, including his own truck. He caught him in the act.

I promised a story about one of the people who set out to cause me anguish and this is it. Again, I consider this a Pluto in Capricorn deal… making the shadow (Pluto) public (Capricorn) which you may say is my specialty.

In whatever case, I started blogging on Xanga.com in 2001 and I had an audience almost immediately. I had fans but I had one hell of a lot of detractors as well. I am not sure the reason, I suspect there was more than one but I was routinely attacked in every way you can imagine.

One of the things people did – they created blogs solely to write posts about how I sucked and all I can say is I was DEVASTATED. I was terribly hurt and I mean I was cut to the bone. I would be sobbing over what was written about me as it was truly cruel and worse, I profoundly confused. I just couldn’t understand how people could be so mean and for why?

I had started writing (about astrology) on an (Ebay) message board by accident. I wrote there for about 3 months (600 pages!!) and then started a blog – the first astrology blog on the planet, I think and boy did they hate me, at least some of them did. And they (whoever “they” were) put up all these blogs, ‘I hate Elsa P and here is why” except I didn’t use my name back then. And it was relentless.

I wanted to quit writing, this seemed simple enough. But that was just not in the cards so slowly (and I mean VERY slowly) I grew a thicker skin. Matter of fact, in hindsight I don’t think this could have been a slower process. I was just freakishly hurt at how cruel people are and for no reason at all. But I did keep at it and in 2005 I moved to this blog.

In 2006 I got an email. The email essentially said this:

“Hi, my name is blah blah and my wife (now my ex) hates you. She hates you, she hates you with a passion, she really hates you and she hates the ground you walk on.

She hates you passionately and I just want to tell you that she was the one who did a lot of those things to you… I know this because I helped her. Yeah, I helped her do all those things and now I wonder if I should not have done all that to you so I’m sorry.”

Well now. What do you do with a mail like that?

I posted him back, I was very gracious.

I wondered about a man who would hurt a woman. I wondered about a man who would allow his wife to direct and dictate his actions. I wondered if the contact was more about betraying her than apologizing to me but I decided I really had no idea and I best take him at his word and respond kindly. What could I gain from doing otherwise and besides that, I don’t hold grudges. I literally have no place to put them so I wrote him back a nice note, thanking him for emailing and telling him not to worry about it.

I went further and wrote about the incident publicly. I went on my (old) blog and wrote… “You know all those people who harass me? Well one of them just apologized, how about that?”

I thought it might give someone else the idea or impetus to apologize or try to right something they had done. Not to me personally but to anyone.

I actually got nothing out of the apology but I had paid in spades. These people cut me to the bone, In guess when you are up to something like this, you’ve got the person completely dehumanized and I thought perhaps this would be a way some good could come of it? So I did that and then guess what he did?

The guy wrote me back 2 days later and guess what he wanted? Guess!!!

He asked me if I would read the charts of him and his new girlfriend… for free!

“Say, Elsa! Now that we’ve got this all cleared up, do you think you could help me out?”

What do you think of this (from a karma standpoint, mine or his)? Pick an angle, any angle…

Last night the soldier and I were discussing our views on karma, comeuppance, the idea of what goes around comes around and so forth. He has very firm ideas around all this which makes him interesting to talk to. Upside of Saturn you could say. It’s like talking to someone who has some authority and is willing to stand on it.

He is of the opinion he’s got a hard road to hoe due bad deeds in past lives and we got to talking about just exactly what it is that constitutes a bad deed. Is it keeping the dollar when a clerk miscounts your change or something much worse? He expressed his ideas on this and at one point used a word that really pricked up my ears. “Anguish”.
