2010 Spring fashion trends for other signs – tag

Cancer
You might love the new rompers and one piece outfits that are out for spring. Many of them covered with small flowers or floral prints, they come strapless or with straps and they are not skin tight. They do flatter the bust and the butt and they are comfy as it can get! Body suits are back and not in their former style but in a new and easy wearing style that you can go from shopping to dinner in without changing so long as you are having a casual dinner. You’ll love the way they give you room to move, are made of natural fabric and flatter your figure, which you are all about. Go out and try a couple to see if you like them before you write them off altogether!

cancer sunAfter  thinking about the people I know and how I tap them for opinions I started to wonder what roll(s) I might play for others. I have a feeling if I asked I would be surprised. Because when I told my inner circle,  “I call you for blah blah blah”, they were completely surprised at how I see them.

Scott had no idea I see him as the ultimate compassionate person. He’s not going to write anyone off, ever! “There’s always hope, Elsie.” This is what he says all the time about everyone, every time so when I get in a situation where something falls off the page of everyone I know, I can call Scott and voila! There is still hope!

cancer crabHi Elsa, here is a question that is all about me but I thought other Cancers/Cancer Rising/moons and their friends might be interested too. I was thinking about your discussions about oppositions; they are pretty interesting, and about Pluto in Capricorn. This puts all Cancers heating up at one time or another in the next 15 years, with Pluto opposition Sun. I would love to hear any thoughts on how this plays out.

Curious Cancer
United States

Curious, I would treat and interpret the transit of Pluto opposite your Sun (or whatever you may have in Cancer) the same way I would interpret the aspect if you had it natally.

In short, Cancers will be meeting Plutonian (intense) types upon whom they will project their shadow like crazy which will get them burned.

Once burned they will stay that way and fester unless they want to dig in their own psyche, a painful process with reward in proportion.

Open Question: Are Cancers Weak As Compared To Scorpios?

“Why are Cancers considered weaker or less intense than Scorpios?”

popemobile_afp416.jpgJessica writes on My Dinner Date With A Cancer Man:

“He was probably dying for it and going about it sideways, hoping you’d help him out. I think he WAS trying to have sex with you by showing you his house, har har har…”

Jessica – Maybe. I did see him again but we had a falling out over the pope. Yep. The pope was coming to Denver and I don’t know what I said but it was something and he flipped right out. He had a young daughter and I guess he was auditioning me for the mother role.

No doubt he thought he was a better mother than the real mother but anyway, I made some remark about the pope and he told me point blank that he was not sure he could have his daughter exposed to someone like me. ::smiles::

In other words I was not the Catholic girl he was looking for, is this a song as old as time or what?

Neptune on the midheaven (square Venus) strikes again. People are always trying to marrymy hologram, I swear. It’s pretty funny when you think about it. The universe dresses you up as this Catholic girl character but neglects to give you a script.

Capricorn Woman In Love With Younger Man With Girlfriend: Astrology-Based Advice

April 4th, 2008 @ 3:32 am by Elsa

Dear Elsa,

I am in love with a guy who is 16 years younger than me, I have not told him this, although since we are really good friends I have told him I love him in the way friends can. He is with another girl, and I would never do anything to break it up, but I long for him with everything in me.

Since I do genuinely love him I won’t do anything that might interfere with his life, but I cannot figure out how to stop this longing, and the pain I feel when he is with his girlfriend.

Can you advise me how to get over him or what to do? I am not immature, although in fact this is the first time in my life I have been in love. I was married for 23 years, had seven children, and loved my husband, but was never in love with him.

I do not want to accidentally make a fool of myself in front of him, or embarrass him by saying something inappropriate, but unless I get over these feelings I fear slipping up.

Five Planets in Capricorn

Capricorn recordDear Capricorn,

It is common to see age difference in couples who have strong Cancer or Capricorn in their chart. Same thing when there are a lot of planets in the fourth and/or tenth houses as these signs and house represent the parental axis and people with a focus there have parent/child themes in their relationships across the board. So I would talk this relationship serious if only it were an actual relationship – but it’s not.

This man is partnered with somebody else… period. There is no indication he had any romantic interest in you whatsoever so I have to conclude you are having a pure fantasy here which is also shown in your chart as you are a Virgo rising which means delusion… er, Pisces rules the seventh – the partner.

Now I am sorry if this is harsh but there are other things that pop out in your note. For example you say he is with another girl but you are not a girl. You are almost 50 years old and this is not a “girl” in my book.

I am glad you wrote, glad you are concerned about embarrassing yourself and I would urge you to let go of the notion you “love” this man unless of course you would like to pine. But yeah. Think hard before you say anything to him because if you do he is liable to be embarrassed, somewhat creeped out and he will almost definitely run for the hills.

I say recognize this as a fantasy and start looking for a new situation.

Good luck.

lisa-niemi-patrick-swayze-world.jpgTo catch you up on the cancer scare saga, the soldier had his biopsy today with the grand cross in the sky and it went pretty well considering no one wants anyone cutting into their face.

I paced the waiting room while he was in there and picked up a People magazine featuring a story on Patrick Swayze’s cancer. They have a series of pictures of him with his wife of 30 years, Lisa Niemi that were taken over the years. They met when they were teenagers and they are so obviously happy and in love to this day.

The soldier has told me many times he thinks had we married when we were young, we’d have made it. He thinks we would have figured it out. I have never been convinced until I saw those pictures today. You think all people do ugly things to each other, that it is part of growing up but really they don’t. The soldier and I have never done anything ugly to each other and I can’t believe we are ever going to.

He came out after surgery and said the oral surgeon (different from the surgeon who did the consult) said he really doubted what he cut out was cancer so we left their feeling… well, we just left there that’s all. Does not look like this is our road. Thank you, God.

tofuI was only back in the waiting room a minute or so when the nurse popped her head out, “He wants you to come back.”

“He does?” I was surprised.

“Yeah. I asked him if he wanted you there and he said yes.”

“Okay.” I followed her back with three words on my mind, WTF.

“He told me you went to the restroom,” she said over her shoulder. “I’ve been looking for you.” We rounded the corner and she pointed at an office with an open door. “In here,” she said. She was cheery so I figured it must be okay.

vintage 60s sports car corvetteFinished with that phase we went back out to the waiting room to wait to be called to see the doctor. I tried not to think about Sadisimal John but it was hopeless.

Sadisimal John was a rich guy I dated during one of my break-ups with the soldier. His father was an oral surgeon and I don’t know what else but this family had gobs of money. It was a family of four where both children were adults, but they had 3 maids and I could never figure out why.
