Astrology And Disposition: Are You A Nervous Type?

October 18th, 2010 @ 8:30 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

nervous-brickdown-1.jpgSome years ago the soldier told me he would never take me on an ambush. Apparently I am fit for many types of missions but an ambush is out.

“You could never do it, P. You have to lie still and not move for hours. For hours upon hours, no talking.”

I got a pain in my head just thinking about it and I didn’t protest because I don’ t mind being fidgety. To hell with it. Someone’s got to bootle, may as well be me.

My nervous disposition and/or inability to sit still is shown by Mars conjunct Mercury in my chart. His ability to discipline himself is shown by his Mars in aspect to Saturn.

Do you have a nervous disposition or not so much. Can you see this in your chart?

rhino-mud-hole.jpgRegarding the soldier’s new (real) chart with it’s amended time, he picks up a Venus Neptune exchange. This is not hard to believe considering the 25 years he spent collecting songs about his love. Venus Neptune pines (I’d know) and had divine discontent (I’d know). Here is one of the forms this takes in current day:

“P, I just have to stand it I guess,” the soldier said.

“Stand what?”

“Your bootlin’” he said. “You always want to bootle.”

Astrology Today: You And Them And Them And You

May 26th, 2008 @ 5:47 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky

geminiSaturn is squaring the Sun and Venus in Gemini and those who love to flit (or bootle) a thwarted in some way.

You will probably be aware of the shortcomings of your partner and if you have sufficient awareness you’ll note your own limitations as well. Commitments made are serious and those prone to beat themselves up have a field day… this is not recommended!

Work (Saturn) for balance (Venus).

Voice Of Mars – Soothing Background Noise

May 13th, 2008 @ 1:15 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

artillery.jpg“I’d like to go in there and watch some war and have you in there with me but I can’t because you write with war going on in the background,” the soldier said.

“No I can’t write with the tv going. But you can go in there and watch war because I am not writing. I’m just bootling. I am not trying to compose or think or anything, there is a difference.”

“I will never understand that, why you can’t work with war in the background. I also don’t understand why they make tapes of sounds of birds or wind or waves so you can go to sleep, but there are no takes of mortar rounds or sounds of artillery so a man like me can put it on and go to sleep.”

“Yes.  Yes, it is a jacked up world I suppose.”

laughing is good for youThe soldier and I on the phone…

“Well, P, I am going to try to be a good man for you. I am really going to try.”

“Yeah, like what? What does that mean?”

“You know. I am going to try to learn… not make the same mistake twice. Stuff like that.”

“Well then what am I going to do?” I asked.

Bootle. You’re going to continue to bootle, you’re already good.”

“Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.”

jupiterAvery had an interesting question / comment on the Collecting Benefits From The Shadow Of The Collective blog where I mentioned I told the soldier’s story without his knowing in advance.

Avery writes:

“I’m always fascinated by the way people take ownership of stories that also belong to another. For example, back in my early twenties, I got plastered on tequila and ended up making out with a female friend in private. Whose story is that? She felt she had the right to publicize it, since she felt it would raise her “cool factor” a few notches. I just wanted it to remain private..”

How Can A Commitment-Phobic Type Be Married? Good Question, Avery

January 12th, 2008 @ 5:53 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

uranus space travelAvery writes on Part 9- Conclusion:

“I’ve been reading your archives lately and you’ve stated a few times that marriage makes you miserable. Do you think it could work this time?

Sorry if this is none of my business, but I’m curious to find out how you plan to work it!”

Avery – that’s a good question. I can be married, I just can’t be bored. And I just can’t be civil every minute of the day either. Sometimes I just have to fight and if I am deprived of this, I am going to be miserable.

The Oklahoma Ice Storm Story (Mercury Sextile Neptune Version)

December 12th, 2007 @ 4:48 pm by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life

oklahoma ice stormSpeaking of the story you tell yourself, Neptune is sextile Mercury in Sagittarius (as opposed to Saturn squaring some days ago) and listen to the soldier’s perspective on the ice storm…

“I’ve been emotional all day,” he said.

“Because your son is on TV?” I asked.

“Yeah, that and I’ve been thinking about your hair. Your hair and all the things going on right now. It’s the whirlwind, P. Ever since you did those 1 minute videos. Am I the only one who can feel the whirlwind?” he asked.
