I don’t imagine most people discuss stuff like this but the soldier and I do. We like to talk about what he know, or think we know and last night we got around to the idea of my being murdered.

It’s not all out of the question with a chart like mine. Matter of fact if I were killed, astrologers would throw up my chart and say things like, “Of course she was going to be killed, look at this!”

The soldier and I were reminiscing over some of the people we knew when we were kids.   He has one friend who got out of the military and stayed in the desert, they have remained friends over the years. This guy has been to my blog and we are planning to visit him eventually.

“Yeah, I always liked him even though he’s a Yankee,” the soldier said.  “Damned Yankee. So one time I told him, yeah in the south we like to have frog races. Frog races, he said.  He was all interested.  Said he’d like to have to a frog race so I told him, okay, I’ll bring the frogs.”

s – My son (with his Sun conjunct Saturn) has had a lot of fear around someone breaking in the house. For years, I mean. In fact he has a nighttime ritual, he asks if all the doors are locked…. twice. He wants to know if is (somewhat) okay to go to sleep at night and the soldier has overheard this on the phone for all these months.

“No, P. I would not pick this,” the soldier said.  “I don’t think I would. I mean if I were to see you out there somewhere I would be attracted but I’m not sure I’d do anything about it. We’re together because we knew each other as kids. I really would be attracted to you but damn. It’s just so hard to be with a woman, I’m just not sure.”

I stared.

“Yeah but none of that matters. It’s a mute point because as it is, I am in love with you. I am deeply in love with you and have been my whole life. It’s as if you’re in my DNA, that’s how deep it goes. We were just so young when we met and you really got inside me – Into my DNA, that’s what it feels like. I wasn’t even a full grown man when I met you,” he said. “You put a hex on me or something. You poisoned me. I got poisoned by you when we were kids.”
