Every day I am made aware of the generation gap that now exists between myself and others.  As an example, I know a gal in her early 30′s, we get along really well.  We communicate easily and hit it off immediately but the other day, I said something that threw for a loop.

This woman is intelligent, psychologically and spiritually sophisticated so I thought I could just speak but there are some subjects that are truly taboo to much of her generation and race is one of them.  You just can’t mention or acknowledge a person’s race without hitting a trip wire.

Great question and no I have never wondered this buy I am wondering now. What if instead of Elsa P, I was Frank L? Would this change your perception of what is written on this blog?

Annalisa said if someone called her a “nigger”, she’d be tempted to laugh in their face which was pretty much my response back then. I realize that is a foul word but I use it for authenticity and it is part of the Neptune angle here.

Just what is a nigger?  It is derogatory term for a black person (depending on who uses it) but what is a black person? How black do you have to be to meet the criteria? My friend Ben is 1/2 black, is that black enough?

Very interesting comments on the Love Across Cultures piece, I am not surprised. Some state plainly, they wish to expand their horizons via their relationships and having Jupiter tied to the 7th house, I can relate.

I also have a 7th house Uranus so would be attracted to to an “other” who is unusual or shocking but I have to say this has blown up on me throughout my life.

What I have learned is (projection again) just because race does not matter to you, does not mean it does not matter to them where :them” refers not only to the partner’s friends and family but to the partner themselves!
