What Happens When You Piss Off The Universe (Or God)? Anything?

titanticHere is a Jupiter in Sagittarius question regarding your beliefs. Carielle wrote about a series of traumatic events during a Pluto transit and wound up with this:

“…and have gotten better, which is probably a good thing, as people were starting to ask me what I did to piss off God that badly.”

This was interesting because I was going to post on exactly this topic. The soldier feels he pissed off God quite severely at one time and he is now living a series of lives… many, many, many, many lives meant to teach him a lesson. We were talking about this more extensively this weekend and he said…

“I am here to tell you, that you just don’t want to go around pissing off God. For example, take the Titanic. That guy said, God couldn’t even sink this ship! So what do you think God is going to do? God is going to teach that guy a lesson, that’s what. And not only is he going to sink the ship, he’s going to do it with an ice cube! There! There is your ship, God can’t sink! I sunk it with an ice cube, you bastard!”

Do you think it’s possible to piss of the Universe?

Compromising Your Principles

November 8th, 2011 @ 6:45 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

Currently Venus is conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius placing a lot of emphasis on a person’s beliefs and principles. Because Venus is involved, the beliefs and principles of “the other” or your partner come into play.

My husband and I have inordinately strong beliefs and principles that we intend to live by. Neither of us are prone to compromise our principles. There are lines we are simply not willing to cross. This is asset rather than a problem in our relationship, right up until we run into a conflict that requires that someone concede something they’re not going to want to concede.

Personally, I will go down for my beliefs. I will die for them because I’m done like dinner with compromising things I know I shouldn’t compromise. My soul is not for sale!

How readily do change your standards or compromise your principles, assuming you have some defined? Would you compromise to save your life? How about your child’s life?

libraIt’s killer out there for someone like me. For one thing I have gifted / cursed with Libra and I have no choice at all but to see both sides of any issue. If you have Libra yourself, I expect you understand but if not try to understand there are people out there who find it almost impossible to pick a side. Family feud? Libra see that both Mom and Sis have a point. Further when people like me encounter your extreme position we feel pretty near compelled to counter it. To move you toward the opposite pole in order to balance things.

Well let me tell you something. Pull a Libra move today and you’re liable to get nuked. People think what they think and if you say anything even remotely counter it, they immediately grab a hammer and begin beating you with it.

Astrology and the Family – Can A Person Be Born To The Wrong Parents?

Commenting on the Comments…

pregnant stomachCame across this the other day…

SaDiablo asked on the Single Mother blog:

“Elsa, you said in your response, “…I assure you that your daughter has the right mother, not the wrong one.” Does this mean that you believe sometimes a child *does have the wrong mother? Just curious, as I’ve kicked this question around myself a few times. I’d like to hear a mother’s perspective.”

friends.jpgThis won’t mean much if you’re new around here but I got into a dialogue with SaDiablo about Scott and more specifically the demise of our friendship. He’s the pianist.

Now I met Scott when I was 15 years old and working in his mother’s bar. (I met the soldier when I was 17). Scott was a boy genius… a prodigy on the piano and we started dating.

Now we got along fabulously but never for long. In fact we could not function in a relationship for more than a couple weeks but this did not stop us from getting into one again and again and again over the course of 17 years! And even if we were not dating we were generally friendly during that time, for example he helped me with that sexual harassment lawsuit I filed that I never mentioned to the soldier. You know. He is off rescuing the hostages in Iran. I am filing a lawsuit that will help set precedent for Anita Hill and the like and no one has a clue.

“This made me laugh. I really like that idea of a toilet flush – trust a mega scorp like AMF to come up with something like that, haha “Down the drain with you”

Anyways glad you figured a way to try and deal with these spinning out of control people. I want to write you a pissed letter just to see what song you going to send out, I wouldn’t though, my Mercury Libra conjunct Saturn says don’t do that!”

Do You Believe In Astrology? If So Beware The Undertow

belief_intention.jpgI would say that Pluto’s retrograde transit back into Sagittarius has got me by the balls if I had a pair. Since I don’t, let’s just say I am being held close in, next the fire. At the moment I am both treated and tortured with a myopic view of the power (for good or ill) of Sagittarius things like storytelling and you beliefs. For example, astrology.

What if I “believe” in astrology and this causes me to look at a person’s chart (in this case, the chart of the soldier’s son), draw conclusions and then act on them? What if I see our Moons are conjunct, our ascendants are conjunct, my Mars and Mercury are conjunct his Venus and so on and on and based on my ability to discern what that means I act in a specific way?

How does that compare to how I would act if I did not have this ability?

Are you unnerved yet?

newspaper.jpgPluto is transiting retrograde, about to leave Capricorn for Sagittarius for it’s last little round-up in the sign. It won’t be back for approximately 240 years and I got to thinking about what this might mean for the individual. Might it be a last chance to get rid a belief or philosophy (Sagittarius-ruled things) that has outlived it’s usefulness?

This has probably already occurred for most of us. There are things we once believed that we probably no longer believe but I wonder how conscious people are of the shift and decided most likely – not very. So can we benefit from increased consciousness?

Pisces, Faith, Jupiter And Your Beliefs – Fifteen Minutes Later

jupiter coinMy friend and I finished that conversation both of us convinced and in agreement the man in question should be given the benefit of the doubt and 15 minutes later she brought it up again.

“No, we have already talked about that,” I said. “It’s like we just tested you for breast cancer, you don’t have it. We tested, you’re clear, you don’t need another test because that last one was definitive.”

She laughed. “Yeah! You get a mammogram and they say you don’t have cancer you don’t keep going back every week…”

“Right. Don’t worry about this. I really grilled you, there was no stone unturned. The guy is clean.”

“Okay, that’s good. I’m not going to worry about it.”

Do you go back and test and test and test and re-test? If so why, and where is your Jupiter?

Pisces, Faith, Jupiter And Your Beliefs

February 22nd, 2008 @ 7:00 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

Jupiter planetI had a situation come up with one of my friends. She was in a circumstance where it seemed someone she knew and liked was up to no good. The evidence was extremely incriminating. 9 out of 10 people would vote to convict, I’d say which makes it very hard to be the one standing alone to defend. Might you be a fool?

Being as I am her friend I argued for about a half hour, the 90% side of this, against her faith. This may sound cruel but it was requested because if she were in denial about this thing it would come down on her pretty hard when the veil lifted so I probed and prodded every nook I could find while she continued to stand up for the guy. Finally, I became convinced.
