Open Question: Can A Person Conceal Their Character? POLL

Astrology And Rejection: Do You Ignore Rejection? Oblivious To It? See It As A Challenge?
Ask the collective
Some people get a clear message that another person is not interested or no longer interested but they just can’t or don’t or won’t parse it even when the message is repeated and consistent over time. I guess you could say they deny rejection. They know they have been rejected they just think the person is mixed up or due to change their mind.
Others imagine rejection when it doesn’t exist and some see rejection as a challenge to be accepted and raise the level of their pursuit.

Astrology Today: September 27, 2009 – Mommy And Daddy Fight
My eye on the sky
The Moon (depressed) in Capricorn opposes debilitated Mars in Cancer and daddy and mommy fight.
You will either be daddy or mommy, good luck figuring out which.
(The fight is for control of course.)

1 Minute Astrology: Scorpio And Trust – The Vetting Process
Commenting on the comments
Penny Royal questioned my complete faith and confidence in a person’s character as outlined in Care And Feeding Of Your Energy Source. This video from March addresses this topic and I have added comments below.

Astrology Today: April 6, 2009: Depression Frappe
My eye on the sky
The day promises to be difficult with the Moon in Virgo conjuncting Saturn (it hates that) and opposing Mars and Uranus (not too fond of that either). It’s pretty much a recipe for depression / emotional burden frappe and I can’t think of one person who likes those.

Elsa P: Far More Secretive Than She Realized
Astrology in real life
I made that video about Scorpio and trust today and I made a second video on a similar topic for tomorrow. I intended to make a third video, but after 3 or 4 stabs at it (Mars Mercury pun), I gave up. I realized I just didn’t want to tell you guys this stuff. ::laughs::
That may seem ridiculous, as so much of my personal life that is broadcast on this blog but fact is from my perspective, I never reveal anything that is actually significant. If that seems impossible, it’s not, it’s true.

Astrology Today: February 23, 2009 – Desperate For Drama And Flair
My eye on the sky
When I see the Moon, Mercury, Mars, Chiron, Jupiter and Neptune all clustered in Aquarius it occurs to me that we are seriously hurting for some LEO energy to balance.
If you have an ego… shiny hair like mine, for Godsakes flaunt it because there is such a thing as too much of the group mind, equality thing.
Some drama would be nice, see? Creativity and Ego (Leo) are not dirty words!
How I Feel About Being Proposed To 40 Times (At Least)
I do have feelings about being proposed to 40 + times and for the record, that is not an exaggeration. If anything the estimate is conservative, I could almost sell bumper stickers, “I Proposed To Elsa Too”. If Scott is reading this, he is laughing because he knows it’s true!
Anyway, I don’t like this and Nick Lowe has a song the perfectly describes my feelings about it. I posted the lyrics below and you can see the aspects in my chart brilliantly described. Who but Mars Mercury is going to make a “knife out of a notion”?

Those Dirty Words Again, Like Control, Manipulation… Soldier..
Astrology in real life
Jennifer wrote on History of the Elsa Blog:
“I am about as NON-soldier-military a person as you can get*, but come on, it’s not like y’all still haven’t seen interesting insights that were based on him/his experiences/chart, etc…”
Well, the word triggers people, I can tell you that. They have an emotional response to the word, “soldier” when they see it.

Someone emailed me privately curious about the fact I said I “grew up yoga” up against a bit in another post where I claimed to have had a horrendous childhood. Both statements are true, of course and here is a story from the yoga side.
It was my grandfather, Henry who was into yoga. I grew up next door to him. He was also a vegan in the 50′s, which was unheard of in that era. And a jogger and a mountain climber…and I was talking to another astrologer about him last week.
“Now did he really stand on his head in the grocery store?” he asked.
“Yes. All the time. Right there in the produce section. And boy were we proud. He was in his seventies and could do that…”
Here’s the story:
Peace Pilgrim
This is Peace Pilgrim. She started walking in 1953, and she walked until she died in 1981 to promote her cause of World peace. That’s twenty eight years of walking.
She walked over 25,000 miles in the US and Canada saying that she would eat when someone gave her food and sleep when offered at bed.
Henry admired her. He revered her actually, so when she walked through our city, this was a major event. Plans were made to meet her, and shake her hand as she passed.
The day arrived. I was about 7 years old, and we drove from the desert to the city and posted up on the side of the road in the hot sun to wait for her to come up over the hill. We were going to intercept her.
Twenty minutes passed and she didn’t show. Henry agonized that she may have passed and we’d missed her, but then she came into sight. I don’t think I ever saw my Grandfather so overcome with emotion. She was his Pope.
“There she is! There she is!” he said, excitedly.
I gotta say, she was awesome. She really did look like a vision. She was a moving force and moving swiftly by the way. She wasn’t kidding about walking down the road.
Henry had a water bottle, and I had three bananas. She stopped, nodded at us and said “Good day”. She took the water bottle from him, and drank from it before giving it back. I handed her the bananas and she ripped one off and gave two back. “One is plenty, child. Peace,” she said.
She walked off, at the same fast pace, waving with one hand but not looking back. I watched her walk away kind of stunned and mesmerized, reading the back of her shirt, “10,000 miles for peace”.
Henry said, “She’s a wonderful woman, walking like that.”
We got in the truck and went home.

Here is a quote from an interview with Peace Pilgrim, regarding astrology:
Q: How old are you?
A: Along my pilgrimage route many people would ask my age. I told them I did not know my age and I did not intend to figure it out. I know my birth date. It lingers at the fringes of my memory, but I won’t divulge it. What purpose would it serve? Many have tried also to guess my old name. The most interesting guess was that I’m Amelia Earhart. I’m very thankful that age is now out of my mind. As long as I counted birthdays and started thinking about getting older, I did get older. Age is a state of mind, and I think of myself as ageless. And that’s my advice to others. Get to be as old as you want to be and then stop creating age.
I never give out my zodiac sign either. Do you honestly think I can be pushed around by a planet? Good heavens, your divine nature is always free–it’s only your self-centered nature that is not free. I have two reasons for not giving out my sign. One is that some enterprising astrologer might figure out a horoscope on me, and what a waste of time that would be. And if my birth time were known I would be deluged by birthday cards just as I am deluged with Christmas cards now, and I would have to take another two weeks off each year to answer them.

Peace Pilgrim was born July 18,1908 with a stellium in Cancer.
