I wish we could have a movie of the month club but can’t see how it could be done. We can compile a list of movies one would associate with each of the planets though so let’s give it a whirl starting with Scorpio, Pluto and the 8th house.

Dear Elsa,

I am wondering about relationships where there a lot of Pluto aspects at work, deep intense crazy connections, that seem to be rearranging your inner organs, can they last?

What I mean is, if Pluto is transforming and obsessive, and related to death and rebirth, is it the kind of thing a relationship can have a lot of and survive? Is there sort of a built in time frame, a transformational process that naturally ends, or does it just keep working on you endlessly?

I’ve peripherally involved in a really ugly and fairly large situation. You know I can’t be involved, involved because I work all the time, however I carry the shadow for this entire group which must number over 500 people by now.

On top that, the situation has cost millions of dollars and I am the person who is seen to be at fault…and I mean, me, solely. I am the one who is to blame.

Now I can never be charged with anything because I’ve not done anything wrong. I could easily provide stacks of evidence that would show that I am not culpable but this is not what is needed from me. What is needed is someone to stand as demon for the collective and I serve beautifully well in this role.

I have had a lot of experiences in my life that are outside the norm. I don’t think about it that much mostly because I am thinking of other things.

Occasionally someone one slips on a banana peel, so to speak, and winds up in one of these pockets of life where I have put in a lot of time and have a lot of knowledge. What they finds out alarms them and I am the first person they think of because of course, I’ve been talking about whatever the thing is for years.  They find out I’m right. They find out I am not crazy. They find out that I don’t exaggerate the shadow out there and you’d think this would be satisfying for me or even perversely satisfying for me but it’s not.

I am talking about the deep shifts in the collective psychology that see various things (or people) become popular or faddish. I constantly monitor things like this in numerous ways. As a result, I can usually see things coming way ahead of the pack.

I have Neptune in Scorpio on the Midheaven. The midheaven rules the “public” and often times I get out there and pick up all kinds of stuff… really dark stuff.

This happened to me yesterday at the grocery store and the fact is, I don’t know for sure that it is not coming from inside me. Maybe these are my dark thoughts and feelings and I assign them to you and you and you and you. Or maybe what I sense really is what is running through people’s minds and hearts.

I suspect it’s the latter which does not excuse me because I am a people too. But does anyone have any experience with this? More specifically, have you ever picked up on something you thought belonged to the collective and then realized it was you, all you – not them but you?

Many if not most may think this is morbid but I think it’s interesting for some reason and also having to do with love. I was sitting here looking around before I wrote the Rotting Home post and I had a random thought cross my mind. If I were to die tonight, what would people think when they came in my home? What would my home tell them about me?

As it turns out, it would not tell them much. Everything in this house (belonging to me) is absolutely discardable other than my pictures, I’d say. The house is not very clean; I’m an old lady so really you could just cart me away and there would be nothing remarkable about it. I am just the kind of person you would have had to know.

I have meant to watch, The Gunfighter with Gregory Peck for almost 25 years but I never got around to it until last night.  The timing was perfect I suppose.

I became interested in seeing the movie in the mid-80′s when Bob Dylan referenced it in his song, Brownsville Girl on the album Knocked Out Loaded. I was captivated with this album in spite of the fact it was almost universally panned and if I were to name the reason I never actually saw the movie, it would be because Dylan seemed to sum it up so well:
