So with this Pluto business it’s like walking in the dark. You’re fine and then you step and there is no floor there, so you drop. It happens when it happens too… there is a strong sense of being out of control.
For example I was writing a pal yesterday and had the intention to send her some pictures of my daughter. I wrote the mail and went to look for some pictures to send out of the probably 2000 I have.
I thought nothing of it until I clicked into the folder on my external hard drive where I have these old pictures and WHAM. Her face started loading all over the place, all the images familiar as if they were just taken yesterday although they span years and I became instantly overwhelmed.
Taking a deep breath, I tried to stay on task but it did not take me long to realize it was not a good idea. The edge is just too close, see? So I shut the folder with a note to myself… you may not want to open that for awhile. And this is how it is. This is how it is when you navigate in the black, pitch black darkness. You have to be wary and sometimes you’ve just got to take a step back.
This puts a lump in my throat.
I learn so much from your coping skills.

I am experiencing this too. The last time that I went through anything like this was my saturn return.
One day everything is right. I am firm, I have made decisions, I am commited, and the next day I am going why is this so hard why all the challenges, and questioning. For me it is revolving around career. It’s a great career and replete with rewards, financial and otherwise, but god is it challenging some days!
Tonight, I was able to get off early and I asked my wife if she wanted to go out for dinner and a drink. We were able to talk about a lot of things. She is having challenges with her work too that started up out of the blue last autumn.
We talked about holidays. This was very helpful. we will figure something out.
You know, we are not alone, many people that I talk to, or am witness to what is going on in their lives, are experiencing this kind of thing.
What else is going on in the sky that is causing so many people, to have so many challenges?

I went through the same transit (conjunction for me) back in 2001 (it was with Saturn opposition as well), and for me it felt like the monsters kept coming up one after another, from the basement of my psyche.
After that time period, many people started telling me how grounded I was – and I think it comes from facing the dark without running away. So I respect your writing about this internal process.

spinner – I think it’s the enormous shift into the earth signs in general but Pluto changing signs is especially unnerving as many can feel a collapse is coming… as it the bottom of the structure crumbles.
