How To Love A Virgo Man: Leo Woman With A Gemini Moon Wants To Know

Hi Elsa,

I have been dating this really nice guy. I just want to know, how can I show this man love? He pops Rolaids like candy, smokes quite a bit, and seems to have a bit of anxiety…and is not always mindful of the present, as he seems preoccupied with his mind racing all the time…so simply put: how can I show this Virgo love?

And I do just mean love in its pure and unadulterated form, even if we are not together for whatever reason down the road. I want to know as his newly aspiring friend and newly present girlfriend, how to help him in a way he just gets.

Thank you mucho and besos.

Leo Sun, Gemini Moon

Dear Leo,

Thanks for the kisses. Your mail is super, super sweet. Do you know what a prize you are? Awhile back I was talking to my editor…

“Do you know that almost every search that lands on the site says something like, how can I get my Taurus boyfriend to do blah, blah, blah? How can I control an Aries, or manipulate this Aquarius. It’s unbelievable. It’s disgusting.”

“You ought to put that on your blog…”

“You think?”

That was six months ago, and nothing has changed. The searches, I mean. No one ever searches, how can I be a good friend? It’s uncanny. So when your mail came in… someone wanting to GIVE, well it’s heartening and I have to tell you that I don’t think you need much advice. Because your (Leo ruled) heart is already right where it should be. Its position cannot be improved, so all I would suggest is that you communicate this to him.

See, never mind what this guy is doing to his body. He knows he is fucking up. He’s a double Virgo for chrissakes! I am sure he is worried about himself. I am sure he is constantly on his own ass about his habits so I’d recommend you adopt a hands off policy around all of his issues and instead, work the soil.

By that, I mean that Virgo is fertile ground. So plant your seeds in this guy. Communicate your feelings without expectation of anything in return. Let him know he is loved and he will be loved and then hands off!

As my friend satori always says: if you want a seed to take root, you can’t keep digging it up to see how it’s doing!! So once you’ve made your statements, once the seed is planted, just water the thing by following through and being consistent. Do this over time, and the odds your relationship will flourish are near 100%.

Good luck.

  1. Good morning!

Your words this a.m. are pretty darn perfect for where I am at and I get it..it feels good to do just that. I esp. like the seed planting analogy….and I do not have a green thumb but have been working on it for some time. Literally, my various co-habitating plants are still pretty green and not quite as brown as they once were :-).

oh, and I hope your energy stays up…it sounds like this kind of fun can be taxing….you are a pretty phenomenal person to be able to receive it and push it back out there, literally metamorphosing things so beautifully.

Have a good day and thank you Elsa!

  2. You too huh! I get those types of search strings all the time. The saddest strings are about partners being unfaithful or liars or jerks.

I also get a lot of searches about being nice to a partner based on sign (probably b/c I wrote an article about that a couple years back!).
