Does My Bad Transit Cause Depression & Disillusion?

neptuneHello Elsa,

Transiting Neptune conjuncts my ascendant while transiting Saturn conjuncts my Neptune-Mercury conjunction in opposition to natal Saturn. It sounds like depression or delusion…is there a bright side?

Hi, Puzzled.

Perception is everything. When I consider these transits, I see depression and delusion as a possibility. However, it’s not the first thing that comes to mind.

You’ve put these two transits together and come up with some horrible stew. It’s main ingredient is fear! Try this:

Neptune over your ascendant will sensitize you. Luckily, Saturn is transiting Mercury (your mind) and your natal Neptune. Sounds to me like you’re going to learn to work with this!

The thing to avoid with Neptune transits is “self-undoing”. If you commit (Saturn) to keeping this in mind (Mercury), you should fare very well.

Good luck!

Are you prone to disabling yourself?

Hmmm… Neptune is transiting my 2nd house — yep, I’ve been making a mess there since it entered it in 2011, now in old money-pit house with leaky roof and costly plumbing issues — Neptune!

I used to think my natal Mars in 12th was the source of my self-undoing tendencies ’til you told me it wasn’t. So perhaps my lifelong misadventures hark back to my natal Libra Neptune in the 9th opposite my Aries Sun, squaring Uranus in 7th/AC/DC/Nodes, plus this Neptune transit …wow!

Guess I should stop longing for Florida sun (floods, sinkholes) and aim at higher ground to stay dry? At least this house is on a hill (“Quality Hill” historic district)! Or back to CA, to the desert?
