zodiacThis is from 2007… did not get much attention back then. I wonder what people think now.

Yesterday there was some discussion about a woman’s asexuality being pathological here and here. Turns out the soldier and I were talking about this a couple days prior. He had told me a story from his childhood.

“Now see,” I said. “Some people would say your whole life is pathological. They would say your career was over-compensation for that experience and experiences similar to that experience. What do you think about that?” Continue reading Astrology, Psychology, Pathology – Nature, Nurture And The Chicken And The Egg

At War With The Opposite Sex

April 7th, 2012 @ 5:30 am by Elsa

Ask the collective.

There is a debate on the boards about who should pay on a first date. I figure if there is going to be conflict over this…first date, that is already a sign we’re not compatible.

Uranus Square Pluto – Out Of Proportion

April 1st, 2012 @ 10:02 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky.

“Ever seen a few drops of rain turn into a torrential downpour?”

I’m working on the first chart for the Uranus Pluto workshop which as me in a certain mindset.  Uranus and Pluto are outer planets and they just don’t bow to an individual’s will.  I’m going to be writing about this for three years as there is a lot to say and stories will unfold as the months.

Currently, I am thinking about how Uranus and Pluto combine to create something out of proportion.  I’ve written about this before – How Things (Really) Work In Nature – Exponential vs Linear Consequences.

Equations of this type are going to be the norm over the few years.  Sometime little and lowly winds up becoming something you don’t expect.

Hasanything in your life ever exploded out of proportion?

People You Know Or Think You Know On The Internet

Astrology in real life

idiot-savant.jpgBusy today – this is from 2008.

Dina writes on Blows The Attraction Theory All To Hell:

You’re not intellectual, Elsa? You seem pretty smart/wise to me!

Dina, thank you but I am telling you I am least developed on the intellectual level and one of the points Claire-France made.  She explained that I had developed this function to the extent I have via writing which caused people to come along, read my writing and then mistake me as some kind of intellectual!

So I put my writing on the Internet and next thing you know, people like HQ are writing me thinking I must be some kind of brilliant and when they encounter reality the next question sounds like this:

“What are you, some kind of idiot savant?”

8th House: Leaving A Legacy, Greed And Self-Centeredness

March 27th, 2012 @ 8:13 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

I started a thread on the boards to discuss how people tag each other narcissists at the drop of a hat. I wondered if this was the word-of-the-day, or if we really have become more self-centered – it’s all about me!

Bad Synastry, Bad Composite, Good Relationship?

March 12th, 2012 @ 6:33 pm by Elsa

Synastry and Composite charts vs Life Itself

A reader wrote:

“There are some synastry aspects that make people want to run the other way, a Saturn square or a Neptune one say, but that kind of reaction doesn’t take in to account the natal relationship each person has with the square planets in their own charts. Does that modify the synastry? Does the natal chart trump synastry and composite charts?”

1 Minute Astrology: The Limits Of Justice – A Personal Story

March 12th, 2012 @ 9:25 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

This is a companion to this piece, Inequality In The Real World. People think it should right and just and fair but in reality, you have to weigh things you are pursuing and perhaps accept less than what is fair (or nothing at all) to get a longer term gain.  You may hate this but it’s real, as will be proven over and over with Saturn in Libra.  Social rules.  Seniority in relationship. Grace at work. COMPROMISE.

Who Feels Compassion For The People No One Feels Compassion For? Scorpio!

March 9th, 2012 @ 12:04 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life…

scorpio lighterWho feels compassion for the people no one feels compassion for? It’s Scorpio, hands down. I have no idea how I would survive without Scorpio. I don’t think I’d manage.

During the time I refer to in this video, Compassion And Sympathy: Who Garners Yours, Who Does Not And Why I was married to man with 5 planets in Scorpio. He had tremendous compassion for me. My ex, The AMF? Scorpio sun, part of a stellium in the sign, also tremendously compassionate. My friend, Ben? Scorpio Sun who sustained me singlehandedly for 2 solid years.
