From January 2008, I project my 7th house and guess what? So do you!
There were a lot of questions in the comments, I have started to address them here: Astrology Q&A – What if there is nothing in my 7th house?
Unfortunately, my husband had to leave early.
Fortunately, I have a delicious book to read.
I have been studying funerals and the like (Uranus Pluto transiting Mercury) and it’s been a freakin’ rich exploration for me. It seems I only get something this tasty to think about every couple years. So I cracked this book, feeling I could slobber and on the first page, I scored!

With Uranus and Pluto transiting my natal Mercury, all my writing has some kind of form or purpose. There is no frivolous, anything.
I am sure this is important in the scheme of things, but it was not that long ago I could be inspired by an interesting song, rather than death customs around the world!
It’s a bit like being given blocks in shades of brown and black and gray to play with. I have Venus in Leo and can’t say I’m pleased with the situation.

The other day I asked my teenage son what he was up to. “I’m just going to cook something,’ he said.
“Cook what?”
“Meth,” he replied.
I shook my head.
“My son is a smart ass,” I told my husband.
“Yeah. He’s going to get a lot worse,” he replied. I knew he was talking about puberty. “You’ve got to expect it. He’s got Panizzon blood.”

On Being Repulsive In Public
Saturn In Scorpio Transit Conjunct Neptune On My Midheaven…
I don’t think you can have a chart like mine and not feel repulsive at times. There are periods when these feelings are very intense. This is one of those periods.
Luckily, Neptune is involved so the feelings come and go. Unluckily, Neptune is involved so the feelings come and go.

Love That Can Never Be Replicated, Life Spans, And Getting On With Your Life
Outtakes and various other sundries.
Sunday, I wrote about a movie I watched, set in the 1800′s – (Dealing With Death (In The Family). There was a young girl in this movie. I related to her because she was adventurous, determined and attracted to taboo.
There was a boy in the movie as well. These two kids got along, even though the girl stomped the ankle of the boy. She kicked him in the leg once too, as I recall, even though he was clearly in love with her, and she with him.

With my current transits, I continue to be interested in Funeral Customs Throughout History. A few people have told me I am morbid, but hey! I’ve heard that before!
I heard it from my parents, when I wanted to look in the sick call Crucifix when I was a kid. This was forbidden.
I heard it when I was 15 years old, lying in the dark, listening to Leonard Cohen’s early work.
“Why do you want to listen to that depressing son-of-a-bitch, Elsa? You’re as morbid as he is!”

I continue to work with a lot of people who have Saturn transiting the 4th house. Recently, I spoke with the mother of a gal who is having this transit. The gal is in her early 20′s and living in a roommate(s) situation, like many do at that age.
“Your daughter is living in a petri dish,” I said. “What with all the with all the hijinks, power struggles and ways of cooperating or not cooperating, that come into a play when people share space and expenses. She agreed.

This is odd topic but with Venus (Love) in Aries (Men) squaring Pluto (death), it seems appropriate to broach it. This is on my mind because I had a client wondering about having a second husband. Shortly after that conversation, a man I know (who is a great husband) told me that he tries to prepare his wife for his passing. He expects to die first and he doesn’t want her to suffer or lose it when/if that happens.

My husband loves the jaw-dropped look. It’s the look you see on the faces of people who meet reality after living in a cloistered environment they’ve been able to control.
With Pluto in Capricorn squaring a stellium in Aries, we’re seeing jaw-dropped looks all around. They are so common at this point, it’s like they’re the new fashion.
