Hits You Like A Brick

February 7th, 2012 @ 6:10 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life.

I cop to being really uncomfortable right now. Pluto is station in hard aspect to my natal Mercury and I just know all kinds of dark and/ot dire stuff.  I sense it, or I just know it or whatever.

I feel bad handling this. It’s enough to make me sick because my natal Mercury in in Libra. I can’t tell you how much I like things to be nice.  This is embarrassing to my 8th house but it’s just the way it is. I turn my head when some movie person gets stabbed and I’m sure I always will.

“I’m Not Ready To Get Married…” What Does This Mean?

February 5th, 2012 @ 7:08 am by Elsa

Ask the collective

wedding rings marriageThis question has come up several times in the last week or so.  A man or a woman has made this statement and I have been asked (and asked others) what it means.  The responses have been varied.

Some think that when someone says this to you, they will never marry you.

Astrology – Short And Sweet: Taurus, Famous For Their Self Esteem

February 5th, 2012 @ 5:30 am by Elsa

Astrology in real life

taurusMy husband was lying around calling himself a lazy hog and bum and so forth. It seemed harsh to me so I asked, “Why do you say that stuff?”

“Don’t worry, P. No one can ruin my self esteem including me.”

Is your self esteem solid?  Got planets in Taurus?

Astrology – Short and Sweet: One Man’s Ace Is Another Man’s Rocket

February 4th, 2012 @ 12:36 pm by Elsa

Astrology in Real Life…

155 mm cannonI have Mars Mercury conjunct. A trickster. My husband has Aries. This is from 2007.

“Well they don’t know about me,” I said. “I’m… well, I’m your ace in the hole.”

“Ace? You’re a lot more than that. You’re my 155mm cannon in the hole,” he said.

“What’s that?”

“Big gun. Big, big gun. P. Take out nearly a whole square with one of those.”

“Oh, well that sounds like something good to have.”

“Yeah, it is if you’re a soldier. When fighting someone you’re always better off if you’ve got the bigger gun. And you, P, are as big a gun as they make.”

1 minute astrology

From January 2008, I project my 7th house and guess what? So do you!

There were a lot of questions in the comments, I have started to address them here: Astrology Q&A – What if there is nothing in my 7th house?

eagleDear Elsa,

I am wondering about relationships where there a lot of Pluto aspects at work, deep intense crazy connections, that seem to be rearranging your inner organs, can they last?

What I mean is, if Pluto is transforming and obsessive, and related to death and rebirth, is it the kind of thing a relationship can have a lot of and survive? Is there sort of a built in time frame, a transformational process that naturally ends, or does it just keep working on you endlessly?

I went off on my boards this morning as I do from time to time. I get pissed off, that’s why. I get so pissed off over who and what I am mistaken for and I am never exactly sure when this is going to happen.

I don’t mean the projection. That’s a constant for anyone who is going to put themselves out there for public consumption, especially if they have Neptune conjunct the Midheaven like I do.

What I mean is I don’t know when I will have angry reaction as opposed to my default reaction which is transcendence, but I may have a clue as of this morning. I can’t say this is true all the time, but it seems I am most likely to go off when the projection is widely disparate from what is going on in my real life, at the moment the insult comes in.

Capricorn, Saturn And Compassion

Astrology in real life

saturn planet niceThis is from 2008. My husband and I were coming off years of intense difficulty, the kind you don’t even speak of.

“I wouldn’t worry about that,” I said. “We are in impossible conditions, trying to have a life. I have been in impossible conditions myself, for 9 years. The conditions were  completely impossible but I still managed to have some kind of life.”

Astrology in real life

cancer foodOne time, I went on a date with a double Cancer man. Cancer = home, family, roots, food.

He took me to dinner at a restaurant that was somebody’s converted home. All during dinner he told me about the family that had lived there. He told me their names, and detailed histories with dates of various happenings. He outlined the whole family tree.

January 24th, 2012 @ 2:43 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

eva posted to the boards about the veil dropping on her therapist. It make me think of this video when my son and I had a similar thing happen.

The video is oppositions in a natal chart, and polarizing view points. I see my sadness in it. Woah.
