Several people remarked that they liked the format of a dialogue in a blog that I used here: Fear and Faith and Saturn in Transit
I liked it too but producing something like that requires “other people’s energy” and I don’t emails like that one very often. Perhaps this can change?

I like a dialogue (I have Mercury in Libra) and I invite questions often enough but have no idea how to bring about this type interaction. I do know the advice portion of this blog seems to have almost completely disappeared so it would be nice to have a replacement for that however, I do not want to answer general astrology questions.

I am completely enamored with the new Astro Dispatch site. I love the look of it but it’s the strings that run the show behind the curtain that are really impressive all courtesy, HQ’s brother, Mr. Wrench.

Mr. Wrench has now turned his talents to the upgrading of this site. The first thing he’s done is revamp the consultations page – I am now “downtown” and so are you.

The whole thing is elegant and automated. You can go in an schedule a consultation with ease, clicking a calendar to take your pick of available times. This will take you to a page where you enter your birth data and tell me what you’d like to talk about and last to a screen where you can make make payment via paypal.

I think it’s slick and I think we’ve thought of all contingencies. For example there are ways to make arrangements for alternate methods of payment, scheduling on short notice, scheduling outside normal hours, etc. In short, we’ve done our best to accomodate the customer, so check it out!!

I am having trouble writing here lately, you may have noticed. The reason is because the Astro Dispatch is a lot of work, the work is not creative and I am finding it near impossible to switch back and forth.

As always, I have endless ideas but I am afraid (Saturn) to embark on something because when I write (Virgo) poorly, I am easily misunderstood. I may be misinterpreted or in many cases, no one knows what the hell I am talking about and in the past when this has happened I have been able to respond quickly and untangle the hair.

Users of the Astro News may be wondering why the feeds are flooding in all at once the short answer is: I don’t know.  It appears to be the feeds of the people using blogspot which have never worked on this system which is why I have been adding posts from blogspot bloggers manually.

We have not fixed this because effort and energy has gone into building a new and PERMANENT replacement for te Top 10 which is 90% done, looks great and is up and running as of yesterday.

I have to load all the feeds though which I hope to do today and then I will come on here, announce the new location and beg people to change their links for the last and final time and hopefully we’ll all look back in 5 years and say this wasn’t so bad though at the moment… ::rolls eyes::

UPDATE – The blogspot feeds continue to flood in and there is nothing I can do to stop them, sorry! I have not made progress on the new site because I am waiting for instructions on how to load the feeds… hoping this will get done tonight!

If you did not catch the update in the comments around the soldier’s extreme emotion about the potential of my being ill – within an hour of my finding out I have a hernia rather than cancer or something dire, we learned his mother was in the the hospital in ICU where she remains, her prognosis is up in the air. All the things that happen when something like this happens are now happening and other things are happening as well.

I have been having issues with my cable connection for the last week or so… 3 tech support people have come out here and not been able to resolve the problem. It’s hindering things to say the least.

Mercury is applying to square Pluto and things are hopping around here in some spots. In other spots there have been total black outs. For example over the weekend my blog was down for half a day and there was nothing I could do about it

Today, I some how dropped half my bookmarks and cannot figure out how to find the link that allows me to add things to the Astro News at the moment so again another black out.

We think this has died and my editor, HQ is working on a solution. He hopes to get it out by tomorrow so please cross your fingers. We had a lot of traction and hope to lose very little in transition.

In other words, I think the tide is coming back and hopefully it will be high!!

UPDATE – Very sorry this has been delayed. HQ had this ready to on Friday but ran into a bug. I woke to an email this morning… he was up late last night working on this and hopes to have the problems resolved quickly. We both feel very pressured… he is doing his best and meanwhile I am brainstorming what I might be able to do to make the new site better than the old. I aspire anyway…

If you have been reading here awhile you are probably aware that every once in awhile someone (occasionally one of the regulars) goes insane.  They start messing with me, complaining in the comments about how unfair I am or how insensitive I am or how I ought not to be doing or saying what I am saying.

Now obviously this is an attempt to control me which anyone who reads here ought to know, is not going to be possible. Not after having been raised by those Aquarian parents, are you kidding?  But somehow they get this idea they can dictate what should and should not be posted to MY blog which to me… well, as I said I just think it’s insane.
