I mentioned to my husband how common it is people are caught cheating due their cell phones. Some gal picks up her husband’s phone and some gal’s name is all over it. “I think people know their spouse is cheating other ways besides their cell phone. Don’t you think, P?”

I do think. I think people sometimes know and deny but I also think sometimes they know and don’t care. The latter is rarely discussed but pretty common, I think.

If you were caught cheating or caught someone cheating, how did it happen? Know anyone who knows their spouse cheats but doesn’t care? Tell us!

When I was young I was inundated with death. People died, died, died, died and died. Having known nothing but, it never occurred to me this would or could ever stop until did. The string of deaths stopped abruptly when I was about 21 but I was so busy waiting for the other shoe to drop this did not register for about 10 years.

It’s now been 20 years and virtually no one has died anywhere near me. I have always assumed the deaths would start back up at some point. This seems inevitable although I don’t worry about it anymore because I feel much better equipped to cope.

To update in 2010, it appears I am going back into a cycle like this. I didn’t handle death very well when I was young. I had no elegance about me or about it but do think I am far better prepared now.

“So did you confront him?” I asked regarding my friend’s cheating husband.

“No. No I did not. I thought about it but then I thought why should I do that?”

I could think of a lot of reasons but it was obvious she had her own thought process so I just listened.

“I’m not going to do that. I won’t do that for them.”

I consider myself a man’s woman and I don’t think many would argue. But I am also a feminist with serious credentials. But this blog is not about me. It’s about I woman I know who fascinates me because she has such little use for men!

She’s a married, heterosexual but her husband is a complete afterthought to her. She’s pretty much disinterested in sex. What she loves is her sisters… which is basically any woman of any age who lives on this planet.

She spends most her life supporting other women by being politically involved and planning or participating in women’s groups or circles. And she is always trying to get me to come to one of these things to which I respond…

The soldier and I also watched, In Search of History: The Catacombs of Rome this weekend. It’s sort perfect for all the planets in Pisces and Saturn Pluto square.

The program was interesting and evocative but what most caught my attention was the attractiveness of the people in the paintings. I was taken with their physical beauty and I just wonder when we as a culture are going to stop mutilating our bodies.

It seems an affront to nature and I wonder how we lost this ground 2000 years later to where we have to cut our faces,  blow up our lips, etc.

Why can’t we be satisfied?

On thing that strikes me is my effort to build a business in a climate where everything is decaying.  My neighborhood is definitely rotting around me as I sit in the middle of it and try to build something strong, healthy and useful.  I am not the only one of course but I think this is a testament to the human spirit.

No matter what happens people will fall in love. They will have babies and and they come up with ideas and try to better themselves.

I wish conditions were better but the conditions will never stop people like me.

New people may not know you are welcome to send questions for the ‘ask the collective” series. We’ve not had any lately but you can just click the ask tab up top if you have something you would like to ask ‘at large”.  I just got this:

“What’s the astrology of someone who dishes it out but can’t take it?”

I have no idea probably because I don’t run with these types. I was taught not to do anything to anyone I’d not want done to me and everyone I know abides by this.

Off the top of my head I would say if someone is dishing it as in attacking,  that is a Mars function. If they can’t take it, that sounds like a weak defense (Saturn) so if  I was guessing I’d say it’s a jacked up Mars Saturn at fault but really, I don’t know.

Anyone?

“Marlon Brando and Sophia Loren, they hated each other,” I told the soldier on the phone. “Yeah, they didn’t get along at all and they made a movie together. Apparently it was a disaster because they hated each other and they had no chemistry at all. And they had to hug and stuff.”

He laughed.

“Yeah, so anyway you know how Brando is - he fucks with people to no end so apparently he had her in an embrace and he said in her ear, how come there are black hairs growing out of your nose?” I snorted. “And he groped her too I guess and she was pissed and she never forgave him.”
