When you have a long loveless dry spell, it’s only logical that after awhile you think this will never happen for you.  I came to this conclusion myself at one point, and I lived in total acceptance of this fact for a number of years.  I saw that others experienced true love in their life and I just thought I would be doing something else.  I thought I had some other calling or purpose, I guess. I turned out to be wrong and there are a lot of stories out there like mine.

maureen, yes. I have a packed 8th house, but I am also very Saturnian, very Mercurial and have a pretty strong Jupiter streak as well.

Er.. my Mars is notorious and I even manage to be pretty strongly Neptunian.

If there is something I am light on, I’d say it’s Uranus but even that is questionable because I shock people on a daily basis.

I would also think I am light on Venus, however I have Libra and planets in the 7th so that would a be a lie.

“You feel bad about yourself, so you’re degrading me,” I said.

I think this is a common scenario but few are aware of it, on either side of the equation. Having grown up with a packed 8th house and a parent who had Pluto opposing the Sun, I can you a lot about this. A person gets to feeling bad and they’ve just got to degrade someone near them, it’s a survival mechanism.

You can see this clearly, when someone launches venomous attack against a loved one or an associate or even a celebrity they’ve never met.

An old man told me once, “The whole world is never wrong”. He was not exactly right. People used to think the world was flat but when everyone who knows you and cares about you, tells you the same thing, and when you’ve heard the thing before in the past, you can be pretty sure these people are on to something. The whole world tells you that you have a drinking problem for example. Yeah, buddy, I bet you do.

My husband has Jupiter in Sagittarius. He feels you can’t have any joy in your life if you don’t take risks.

Loonsounds wondered who read here, generation-wise, so in her honor, a poll. The dates on the various Pluto signs are approximate at the beginning and end times due retrograde motion of the planet but I imagine most people who read here know their Pluto sign anyway..

Liz asks:

“Is it a good thing to date people who have similar charts to yourself? I’m a late Libra rising and I’ve dated another Libra rising and am communicating with a Scorpio rising. Or is it better to look to people who are opposite rising?”

Given a choice, I would go for the person with energy opposite mine but I have Libra so would be looking for balance.
