Friday night the Moon in Aries trines sign ruler Mars in Leo and squares Jupiter. This means ramp it up and partay but stop short of the whole 300, muscle-flexing, shouting “THIS IS SPARTA” vibe. The yang energy is likely to rub the yin energy the wrong way. I hate to break it down to male/female, because yang/yin does not always fall across those lines. But do keep in mind the sensibilities of the more fluttery crowd as you swing from the rafters. Or if you ARE the more fluttery, try to remember that letting off steam is likely to deflex the Mars crowd eventually. They’ll have to sit down and rest at some point.
Mars and Mercury sextile with the Moon opposing Mercury. See if you can’t have a conversation during the action as this is a good meeting point for the energy. People also communicate with their actions at this time. Whether or not that’s particularly affective will depend on the people involved, but signals are going out. And signals will be received. Be clear where you can.
If you can’t have a conversation during the action? You probably need more cardio in your life, so keep plugging. I find if I can’t comfortably eat a glazed doughnut during my walks, I need to walk more frequently.
Of particular importance to the love landscape, Venus makes several aspects all weekend long. Venus quincunxes Uranus bringing an appreciation for the unusual, if not an outright need for the strange (or space). This is offset by the conjunction to Saturn as permanence and security also have appeal. So take off your glasses and look at your partner through bleary eyes. There you go: instant strange.
Venus trines Jupiter and squares Mars. Big attraction can offset friction between the yin/yang. Friction can be sexy, particularly if you’re willing to not sweat the small stuff. Or you don’t mind the sweat at all.
Saturday night the Moon moves into Venus-ruled Taurus. While they don’t aspect, they compliment by sign and element. This is sexy and self-possessed. It’s a delicious turn of events and the mood is ripe to enjoy. Sensual pleasures are especially effective under the Taurus Moon. You don’t have to be partnered or even around other people to enjoy them so long as you have fresh batteries and live near a Dairy Queen.
The Moon in Taurus sextiles Neptune and squares Juno. So if your life choices make it difficult to enjoy yourself in the moment? Tune the heck out. There should be multiple opportunities to do so. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, by the way. Tune out times are when epiphanies are realized. They are when we slip out of our mundanity and rise up to meet our higher creativity.
Also, here’s a Taurus moon Saturday night tip from me: Rent a movie online and get TWO small blizzards at the DQ. They don’t know they’re both for you and you don’t have to decide between your favorites. Mercury is in Libra. Decide on BOTH.
And that brings us to Sunday and the ingress of the Libra Sun. It’s FALL! Autumn! Libra season! The Taurus Moon moves into full opposition with Venus in Scorpio, and you can balance your ice cream with your massive internal sexiness. It’s also balanced by Saturn, so it encourages one to do the right thing. If you don’t it won’t feel quite as good. Don’t eat both those blizzards in one sitting.
What are your weekend plans?
