Friday evening double check your plans and your communications as the Capricorn Moon squares Mercury. It applies into conjunction with Pluto lighting up the cardinal t-square with Mercury and Uranus. Don’t assume someone got the message or that it was interpreted correctly. Venus Saturn sextiles the Moon and Pluto, better to take the time, slow it down and solidify, with a smile.
If you really want to make something happen this weekend, try implementing reflective listening. When someone gives you important information, either about your plans or about what’s going on with them and their feelings, try verbally feeding it back to them. “She was late and it made you feel unloved? Oh honey, I’m sorry.” It serves two purposes. First, if there’s any misunderstanding, it can be corrected immediately (“not the Pancake House, the Pancake HUT!”). Additionally, it validates the other person’s experience and makes them feel valued. That’s a big, big plus on a weekend with Venus conjunct Saturn and a Saturn ruled Moon in sign with Pluto. It could avoid some blow ups and turn them into other blowy things. Nicer blowy things. Mars is involved, and with Mars, stress can also lead to the good kind of bumpy times.
Last November’s full moon eclipse in Gemini (November 28, 2012) had Venus conjunct Saturn very near these degrees as well as Mars conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. Mars is aspecting Saturn and Pluto again, but in a more stressful position. Look for similarities between what was happening then and what is setting up now. What do you need to DO to diffuse tension? Active listening and calm validation is a great place to start. So is Libran communication and solidifying relationships that have undergone some serious overhaul.
Saturday night the Moon has pulled away from the cardinal grand cross, easing some of the tension. Cardinal and control go hand in hand. One great thing to remember is that no matter how it feels, nobody truly controls you. You are in control of your reactions. Recognizing this brings a positivity and power to control issues. It helps milk the benefits from a charged situation and turn it into a good buzz, rather than a tough standoff.
The Moon trines the Sun, both in earth signs, and the effect can be very settling: feet on the ground and heart firmly in your chest where it belongs. It also gives rise to some very earthy, yummy feelings if you tune in and feel your animal self.
All weekend long, Venus trines Neptune, bringing with it a lovely cast of magical balm. It’s much easier to blur the edges and see the pretty with Venus Neptune. It’s also likely to pine for something you don’t have. Use the Cap Moon control to focus that to your advantage. If you’re pining, you’re choosing to pine. Or you’re choosing your perspective about it. Desire means you still have something to strive for. You always have that. Desire drives us to achieve. Work at something… or bliss out and enjoy the moment of higher yum. Either way is a win.
Don’t drink on rooftops. There’s your dire warning. Otherwise have fun.
What are your weekend plans?
“Forces beyond your control can take away everything you possess except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation.”
