Monday morning the Moon in Taurus sextiles Jupiter and quincunxes Venus. So if you still have jelly-legs from the weekend of cardinal grand cross trauma (I’m not saying you do, just IF), chin up, little buttercup: You can pop up and hop on the happy train and get the heck over it. In a good way. Or you can leave extra room in your thermos for some vodka (Neptune opposes Sun-Mercury). That works too.
The cardinal grand cross continues, but the Venus-ruled Moon in aspect brings the ability to sustain a pleasant mood, with a little work that is. Philosophize or just access your perky side. There’s a bigger picture and feeling bad about the situation or yourself doesn’t help things. With the Taurus Moon there’s the chance to slow down and solidify that in the mood. C.S. Lewis said regarding grief: “It doesn’t really matter whether you grip the arms of the dentist’s chair or let your hands lie in your lap. the drill drills on.”
You can’t control your circumstances, but you can use the available energy to improve your mood.
This is the last week of Mars in Cancer. With that and the Sun and Mercury conjunct in Mercury’s sign, Virgo, in earth, this is a good time to put some energy into your family and home, a good time to make a plan to implement or sustain it. As I always say, “Hey, it’s already a crappy day; I may as well be cleaning toilets.” Or, you know, “It’s a happy-happy, sunshiney life, and whatnot.” Whatever, you get to decide!
Take advantage of the Taurus Moon and immerse yourself in some beauty, or pudding, or bake some cupcakes and send them to me. Pink is my favorite flavor.
