Common sense tells us that there are two sides to a story, but I think it’s pretty common people go with one side. It may be because they can’t access the other side, but even if this is the case, a thinking person will always be aware they’re only hearing one person’s perspective on a situation.
I am fortunate that I learned this early in life. I not only learned there are two sides to a story, but also that you should always find things out for yourself. Go to the source and ask questions so you can make your own judgments about a person or a situation, rather than having them be made for you.
A Libra woman with a Scorpio Moon told me that when I was fifteen years old. I took her words to heart. Her words made such an impact, I even wrote them in my book, decades later.
This post brought to you by Mercury in Pisces sextile Pluto. My friend is dead, but her words live on.
Do you judge people or situations based on secondhand information? If so, has the practice ever gotten you in trouble?
