New Moon In Pisces: March 11, 2013 – Universal, Not Personal

March 4th, 2013 @ 5:30 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky.

The new moon in Pisces takes place on March 11th @ 21 degrees, midday in the US.  We usually set an intention under the new moon, with a focus on the house in our chart where the new moon lands, but this month is different.

It’s different because this new moon is part of a large stellium in Pisces that includes the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Chiron and Neptune. Excuse me, but that’s most of the planets we have out there and this cannot be ignored.

These planets are spread out from 3 to 29 degrees of Pisces, a sign without boundaries. Consequently, this energy is going to leak out.  The effects of this new moon will be pervasive and not contained by a house in your chart, even if the math says so. It’s like dealing with fog. There is no firm line where the fog begins and ends.

Because of this, it makes sense you set an intention in sync with Piscean qualities.  Universal, rather than individual.

Pray for all, basically. Knowing you’re one of them.

Ah. I was thinking it might be wise to change my intention in this way. It’s nice to get confirmation!

Sounds good. My birthday is 3 days after the new moon. I need to look into my solar return chart. Thankfully at least Mars will be out of Pisces by then.

prayer and setting good intentions good advice
first and foremost is to not battle these energies
so much work to do internally

Elsa, I want to tell you how soulful you are. Soul-dier. You just helped put this in the front of my mind as well as others minds. With Saturn in Scorpio its been about digging deep inside an individuals soul. Making the intention universal balances things out. Equalization of sorts.

It will feel good to set a clear universal intention thru all the fog.

Great thought process here.

is it conjunct the north node for a generation like me in 40′s? It’s in my 2nd house pisces on degree. I was wondering if that was a generational karmic sea change?

i have no planets in the house of pisces in my natal chart..
although the rental property i am living in at the moment is leaking to no end from all the rain we have had here over the past few weeks..our spare bedrooms roof has caved in from all the moister that is on top of the insulation..due to a massive leaking hole! even our walls are moist & mouldy..

lucky we were able to negotiate with our landlord to terminate our lease early..& we will be out of here by march 20th..just in time for mercury to go direct :-)

hey @kaz!

somebody told me that we are now fully fledging into the aquarius era..so with all these planets including neptune in the sighn of pisces may well be a ‘peak’ in the pisces era before we begin our new journey under the aquarius umbrella.

This is 2 days before my Chiron return in 6th house Pisces. It’s been an interesting time, very enlightening.

Ditto watergal!

My ascendant is 26 degrees Pisces. Therefore this New moon/stellium in Pisces is conjunct my ascendant with transit Mars and the transit Sun on either side of it. All this trines my 8th house/Scorpio Mars/Venus and my 4th house/Cancer North Node. The new moon itself is conjunct my 6th house/Virgo Uranus/Pluto conjunction. I wonder if this means there will be confusion all around me? or perhaps I will be able to do something or set intentions that will be for the good of my spouse and families daily life (6th house)!

I am sorry I meant the new moon is in my 12th house. So maybe some behind the scenes good work!

My Sun in Pisces is in the 12th House, my Ascendent is 29 degrees Pisces. All New Moon planets were in my 12th. . . very painful situations emerged from the shadow and remain while I must resume a higher level of functioning.
Any references to other Pisces in the 12th people? Although I am a psychotherapist and have considerable astrological insight, of course, I need another’s perspective.
