Pluto in Capricorn: Closing Business, Power Management, Contraction Of All Kinds
My eye on the sky.
With Pluto in Capricorn, energy in all forms is limited. We see companies down-scaling their operations. Large chains are closing stores that are unprofitable (Abercrombie & Fitch to Close Up to 50 Stores). Other businesses are shutting down the parts of their operation that bleed resources that could be used to support and reinforce the arms of their business that are still viable.
We also see consumers applying pressure to business by boycotting their products, cutting access to energy (money), shrinking their profits and hindering their ability to expand.
Business and government (Saturn/Capricorn) are also in a power struggle (Pluto). “Pass X law and we’ll pull out of your state.” (Magpul standing firm on threat to leave Colorado if gun bill passes).
This also plays on a personal level. Smart people are cutting ties or limiting their exposure to people who sink them, or thwart them, bleeding and feeding of their energy. They are simultaneously investing heavily in people who do just the opposite of that.

I’m not contacting an ex fiancé today, for the past few days and for the next few days. It’s a sensitive day for both of us even though we are on friendly terms. Today marks the day we broke up a year ago. We’re both pretty sensitive people and are both probably sensitive about this day.
Pie-in-the-sky thinking about raising my kid alone! I am seriously considering a move back to my hometown, so the kid can have family around.

yep,consolidating debt and closing credit cards..I think the less debt to carry in the future the better..with all the debit and credit card numbers being hijacked, cash is the way to go forward.
Paying off debt. Voting with my wallet instead of my words– Supporting local businesses even if they are more expensive. Buying from the farmer’s market and local farms instead of agribusiness monopoly. Realizing you can’t please them all and being happy with that. Patting myself on the back for being a loyal customer with my credit union all these years, especially when all the banks started failing us. Keep my circle of friends small and close and enemies, even closer. Downsizing personal possessions.

I have a particular emotionally needy friend (moon in scorpio) who wants to dump her personal things on me that she can’t vent to no one else. I feel bad for her so I listen. But she also listens to my stuff so I can’t just purge her. She hasn’t proven herself unworthy, she just wants to be happy but I don’t like her jealous tendencies. I think she tells me too much so I’m going to make an excuse to get off the phone hehe. But that’s if its affecting me. Her other close friend knows her very well, we know how pushy she is. Those moon in scorpios are irritating people. But no one’s perfect. I just wrote an essay on her ugh. I have another friend I can bear more with love because her life isn’t so pretty. She bears her love less frustrations with me and so does the other friend of mine. I think I get calls so I can cheer them up or they can feel better about themselves. Then it makes me wonder if they are really my friends or am I getting paranoid. The former and middle are there for me but the latter friend admitted his fault once and I would say there all I’ve got. So I can’t let them go just cause their having a bad day. I actually left facebook awhile ago and I feel really good about it. I think this popularity contest, narcissism thing was getting to me. So I left and I’m glad I did , I devote myself to other things now
since pluto hit capricorn 2008..my lifes been hell….
i have worked for three different companies all of which i was made redundant..
The first could not afford to keep me on due to the economic down turn, they offered my job back to me part time but i refused it..the boss was a WHOLE..other plutonian story…(”.)
The second was a traineeship..2 weeks after i was offered this traineeship..the company folded after i had worked there for 2 years..due to bad management. All employees were devistated
The third was a sixty year old man that needed a young female administrator for his apparently ‘highly paid position with celebrity exposure’ in a reputable small buisness in the cbd..the only problem is that you just had to put up with the harrassing phone calls from his suppliers, threatening to take him to court for MASSIVE amounts of money he owed them..so after 3 months of cleaning up his self destructive mess..& putting up with his rather sleezy harrassments..he made my fulltime position there redundant… & offered my job back to me as a casual.. !!??
..as u can imagine..i declined it…his buissness was headed to disaster…..!
My relationships, finances, family life, love life, health, & my personal life..all round..has been effected by these transits that i will forever remember as being my own personal HELL……………….
sorry to be a downer here on the thread..but its been great to come here & read some of the daily posts..which have been heaven sent for me

hey victoria, i have a similar situation..a family member with her moon in scorpio, & also my best friend…they both dump their problems on me daily..like im their psychologist…but they never ever ask about me & my life..i love them both, but its just winey crapola they sook to me about daily..
ah well.. letting steam off to a trusted friend can be good therapy i guess..even if the steam is boiling the kettle black..(”,)
my patience with wasting my time.
Ive got pluto in my 6th or my 12th if you go by asc. Pluto in 12th..bloody awsome!! In the 6th..meh..switching careers after he wiped out my life career on my progressed sun. So i’ve been been taking it real easy for the last year, re training and studying and digging deep into all the 12th house stuff. Cool. Minimized everything, living simple and happy and grateful, and dumped all my capricorn friends. Man have they been insidious over the last few years. I know theres good integral caps out there, but the ones ive known are in need of a total ass woopin. I patiently sit back knowing pluto will give them a lesson. Made the best most integral and cherished friend when pluto went into cap. He is a scorp and a true blessing in my life. Talk about a deep and integral man. He’s an Aqua asc too, so weve been thick as thieves going through the 12th. Spooks R Us !!
Hey Saturn RxScorpio, hang in there mate. As my progressed sun inched ever closer to my natal pluto, i couldn’t describe the hell i went through and the low life things people were doing. Hang in there Scorp, when it’s over you’ll be a new you and a very wise, tough cookie if you dig real deep. I’m so glad i went through it, and in my 2nd house too! Brought me to my knees. Took my home, my career, nearly my father, the man i loved who was an asshole, wiped out my money hungry friends and all my power connections. Hehe. What a ride. Oh bankruptcy and my business crashed. But it broke me free and gave me what i have wanted most in all my life. And transiting through the 12th fixed all my psych issues with the past. So.. i’ve got a slate cleaner than when i was born. It hurt like hell, tore me apart. It was worth it. When my father went through it he lost his house, marriage, business partner ripped him off, legal law suits, my sister falsely accused him of molesting her, broke and living in a beat up caravan. Man he looked like death and the hits just kept coming. After the transit 20 yrs later he retired with millions and a hugely succesful business and a fabulous wife.
One thing i’d warn you about with pluto, if you don’t own your own power, others will drain it from you. Have compassion by all means, but take care of yourself during a pluto transit and keep good people close. Get rid of those draining you.

I am limiting my exposure to my ex-husband. He likes complaining to me and dumping his problems on me so that I can offer him solutions. Definite drag! So I now only correspond with him when necessary and keep phone conversations to a minimum – only if things can’t be clear enough in an email. He isn’t very happy about it but l certainly am!
