“That’s my secret, Cap; I’m always angry.”
–Bruce Banner, “The Avengers”
Thursday morning the Moon in early Cancer opposes Pluto and trines Saturn and Chiron forming a kite with a grand trine in water. The Moon in its own sign makes the most of this watery energy bounded by earthy depth. The addition of Chiron in the mix brings comfort with your superpower. There’s the ability to find a resting point where acceptance of the primal wounding overrides discomfort. This helps cement its power.
Throughout the day Venus quincunxes Ceres in Gemini as Mars trines. Nurturing is more easily given than received and likely takes place on an intellectual level. However, Venus in Capricorn, earth, favors one foot in the concrete, so don’t ignore the need for physical pampering, though it seems to take secondary significance.
By midday the Moon hits its exact opposition with Pluto and the strongest point of the kite aspect. The desire for comfort is at odds with the depth and power of the overall situation and its emotional impact. The challenge is to stretch your comfort zone to accommodate, which can definitely be achieved under this influence.
Mercury squares Saturn and quincunxes the Moon. This is a great time for contemplation and working out the kinks in a plan. Consider perceptions to be preliminary and allow them to continue to unfold as new information emerges.
By nighttime, the Moon applies into wide trine with Venus and needs and desires may oppose. However, there’s still stability and power from the waning kite. This can be used to find a balance between the two, also a general balance between home and career (Cancer and Capricorn). Satisfaction can be achieved with a little sustained effort.
