“I don’t give a damn ’bout my bad reputation…”
Capricorn recoils in horror
Thursday morning the Moon in early Capricorn conjuncts Venus and sextiles Neptune, dreamy but realistic. Capricorn Moon is a measured mood, often staid or reserved. However, wants and needs agree in the early hours, and Neptune helps blur out the hard edges. One of the hard edges may come from the square to Uranus, needing space, needing change, wanting to change things up or space out.
As the day progresses, the Moon leaves Venus behind and joins Juno and Pluto in a yod with Saturn and Jupiter. This brings special attention to the Pluto-Saturn sextile pointing at Jupiter. It’s likely any major issues developing over the past weeks will hit emotionally at this time, but the aspects promote stability, particularly when coupled with the Jupiter optimism. This can bring about the condition where there’s a feeling of readiness for change, even if that change is not comfortable.
With Juno in the mix, commitments figure in, over and above the Capricorn-Saturn element. Sexuality and marriage are highlighted with a goad from Uranus. Challenge to innovate is likely.
The Moon conjuncts Pluto for most of the day, feeling the shadow, feeling the abyss. By nighttime the Moon approaches conjunction with Mercury which hooks into the Sun, and the mood becomes more cerebral and ego-driven, a better time to communicate and goal-set than earlier in the day. This is a good time to mull things over and initate thoughts on how to proceed.
It’s a big day emotionally and with the Moon in Capricorn, relief tends to come with accomplishment. Consider yourself accomplished if you didn’t start drinking before noon (Moon sextile Neptune), or if you did and managed to stay on your feet. Yay, go you!
