“All these lines across my face tell you the story of who I am, so many stories of where I’ve been and how I’ve got to where I am. But these stories don’t mean anything when you’ve got no one to tell them to. It’s true… I was made for you.”
–Brandi Carlile, “The Story”
Thursday morning the Moon in Mercury-ruled Virgo squares retrograde Mercury and opposes Chiron, forming a t-square. Take care that your communications come from a need to improve on matters in a healing way and not from the pain of your primal damage. Neptune conjuncts Chiron long term and this can foster illusions about our primal damage or the inability to see it for what it is.
Mercury retrograde in this position brings the challenge to change the perception and rethink this damage while really scrutinizing the best way to ground and organize and get right in the heart for genuine satisfaction. The morning’s Moon also sextiles Saturn, forming a yod with Uranus. The Moon trines Pluto as well. Depth of feeling, earthy feeling, aids in recognizing the opportunity to structure for innovation.
Venus in Libra trines Jupiter and sextiles Juno. The general aesthetic favors commitment and it is a good time to take note of what is pleasant about your relationships and drum up some gratitude and interest in keeping them up.
By evening the Moon squares the Juno-Jupiter opposition, sextiling the Scorpio Sun (which quincunxes Jupiter). Ego and emotional drives align to evaluate the polarity of commitment versus freedom. Pallas Athena in Pisces square Mars in Sagittarius. There’s a challenge to integrate your grasp of the pattern in the collective and how you will make it personal to act upon it. It’s not necessarily the time to act but the time to assess what is truly going on and how it affects you as an individual.
