Tuesday the Moon in Leo is quite active. It sextiles Venus and Jupiter as they trine each other. That makes for an exceptionally pleasant, upbeat and shiny mood. The Moon squares the Scorpio Sun with the Sun quincunxing Jupiter. This puts the Moon a bit out of step with the overall tenor of the day. It goes a little deeper than it would seem on the surface, but not so far out of tune that its unmanageable. It’s an undercurrent of jangle.

Mercury begins its retrograde period today, appearing to stand still then move backward in the sky. This is not considered the best time to initiate Mercury-related matters, but the first day of the retrograde period is thought to be particularly fraught with troubles of this type. Communications and perceptions tend not to go as planned. Gadgets and machinery may not be reliable. It’s best to be prepared for delays and snafus.

With a Leo Moon people could get huffy and entitled when things don’t go their way, but in such great aspect with Venus in Libra and Gemini Jupiter, a spirit of generosity is quite likely. Don’t get huffy, get FABULOUS instead! Mercury in Sagittarius likes to move, and in square to Chiron, any irritation may bring up past associations that exacerbate this. However, with Uranus in trine, it’s possible to take a humanitarian approach and help others, take the high road, distance yourself from too personal an outlook.
