Astrology Today: November 1, 2012 – Polarity And The Whole
“I swear by my pretty, floral bonnet: I will end you.”
–Mal, “Firefly”
Thursday morning the Moon in Gemini is the point of a yod, taking quincunxes from the Sun in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn. The Sun and Pluto sextile. The Gemini Moon mood is quick and nimble, sociable and perceptive. This mood is tempered by the illumination of depth, stabilized by a rooted depth. The Moon conjuncts Black Moon Lilith and applies into an opposition with Juno for a decidedly strong, committed, feminine flavor. Women have impact and figure prominently.
By midday the Moon conjuncts Jupiter and opposes Mars and male energy takes precedence. Over the course of the day you’re likely to perceive a strong contrast of female to male, yin to yang energy, as well as the whole spectrum within each category. If there is a point to this, it may be to recognize there are many ways “to be” as well as to assess where you personally fall on the continuum… of each polarity.
The day starts with the Moon trining Venus (feminine) and ends in opposing Mars (masculine). The Moon itself represents the feminine but in a watery sense where Venus covers earth and air. Between the three all elements represent. In addition, the sign of Gemini is sometimes known to be gender-bending. It’s a great day to become conscious of these magnetic energies and how both yin and yang reside within each of us. Full understanding of each and their integration as a whole maximizes personal power.

for anyone who hasn’t yet seen the tv series Firefly, it’s fantastic and on netflix.
“What is ‘Reputation’? It is people talking”

LOL I was going to ask if that was Nathan Fillion. Turns out I was right.
I gotta watch that show sometime.
My crush on my lab partner came to a screeching halt today when he didn’t show up to lab! I accidentally ratted him out too, by blurting that I just saw him yesterday – meaning he’s *not* unable to make it campus since the natural disaster. My instructor was giving him the benefit of the doubt, and I blew it for him. He probably forgot or over slept, because he’s totally Neptoony. I just thought it was funny.

Aspects all over the place for me! I have a slight crush on my lab partner and I think the energy is fitting… I don’t think the crush will last through our 4 hour lab tomorrow, but ya never know!
