Friday night the Moon in Capricorn conjuncts Pluto and squares Uranus. This makes for a deep, serious mood, but with Venus in Virgo sextile Mercury in Scorpio you’re likely to find pleasure in talking about it. Mars conjunct Juno in Sagittarius trine Uranus brings relief in creating emotional distance from the downbeat through action. Juno can be rather sexual, so that works too.

By Saturday night the Moon trines Venus and sextiles Mercury. Any lingering disturbance in the mood is more easily put into words and can be positively addressed. Both nights have needs and desires coinciding in earthy agreement, but moreso Saturday night when they directly exchange energy. At this point Mars is applying into opposition with Jupiter while still trining Uranus and the impetus to act is heightened. It can also signal the urge to run and jump some fences, metaphorically speaking, to break free.

Virgo and Capricorn may not seem like inherently sexy signs to the beginner, but they’re earth signs, sensual, accomplished and clever, tuned in to the body and knowing what to do with it. This is under the radar, capital H Hot. With the Moon and Venus here all weekend, I wouldn’t underestimate the chance of a Barry White good time. Mars in fire provides the fuel.

As always with a Capricorn Moon, things are likely to feel better if you’re working at accomplishing something. With the Libra Sun conjuncting Saturn out of sign in Scorpio and trining Pisces Neptune, this favors moderation in intoxication levels. This is in force all weekend but particularly noteworthy on Saturday night when the Jupiter Mars influence could result in naked hurdle jumping.
