Friday night the Virgo Moon squares Gemini Jupiter. This is a bit like walking around with a big sail on. You want to feel grounded and for the most part you do, but occasionally a gust comes along and it feels like you’re being lifted off your pins. Some extra attention to emotionally bracing yourself pays off as you can then face this energy with exhilaration rather than anxiety. Once you get the hang of the energy you can turn your sail to harness its energy and use it to your advantage.

The Moon is in a waning conjunction to Venus and sextile the sign ruler of both, Mercury. There’s a longing for order and perfection. With Moon and Venus together the mood and the aesthetic energy match. In tune with Mercury there’s less fumbling around “what do you want to do? I don’t know, what do YOU want to do?” It’s a great night to people watch and harmlessly dish. “I like those pants. They make you look like a babe. In fact, they kind of make you look like Babe Ruth.” With Jupiter in square, edit in your head a bit.

Saturday evening the Moon makes its way into Libra. With both Sun and Moon in Libra and Venus left behind in Virgo, there’s not as much unified desire and joint decision-making can get pretty drawn out. Venus sextiles Mercury while the Libra Moon sextiles Mars. You have to communicate and make a decision before you can get out and DO. Probably the best way to handle polite indecision is to split it up… “You choose the restaurant, I’ll choose the movie.” Really the best plan is to make a decision ahead of time on Friday when the Moon and Venus conjunct.

The Moon squares Pluto as Venus squares Jupiter. Keep in mind that this can whip up feelings artificially high (or deep) if you let it happen. The Moon sextiling Sagittarius Mars is a great boon here. Get to doing something while you talk out whatever is not set. Can’t decide on a movie? Stop into the bowling alley and throw around a heavy ball and talk it out during a few quick games. Can’t decide on a restaurant? Pull over the car downtown and just start walking. Talk it out as you sniff the aromas from the places you pass. Can’t decide if they’re into you or not? Go dancing and dance up on them; see how they react. You could always start taking off your clothes and see if they take off theirs. You’ll either end up in bed or in jail. It’s an adventure! Sagittarius Mars!
