Tuesday the Moon heads into Leo and a quincunx with Neptune. It forms a grand trine in fire with Mars in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries. This also brings it into square with Saturn and Mercury in Scorpio. Sometimes these energies just speak straighter to me as musical metaphors and this day brings to mind the iconic, guitar-driven rock of the late seventies. That and the scene in “Almost Famous” when the rock star stands on top of the party house and shouts, “I AM A GOLDEN GOD!” before jumping into the pool. That moment was probably worth the fictional hangover.

That grand trine in fire is sure to raise the mood and fire up some action, even as Saturn-Mercury keeps it in check, a bit of a dampening effect. So if you get all hopped up on… whatever… LIFE, listen to that voice of reason that tells you, hmm, maybe you can’t REALLY fly. Reel it in, son, reel it in. But short of jumping off a building, it could be a fun day!

By evening the Moon quincunxes Pluto. This can feel deeply good or dramatically repulsive. This can be devotion or obsession. Keep some perspective and it’s likely to come out on the positive side.
