Planets Shifting This Week

October 1st, 2012 @ 5:40 am by Elsa

My eye on the sky.

Tuesday – Venus leaves Leo for Virgo.

Thursday – Jupiter turns retrograde.

FridayMercury and Saturn leave Libra for Scorpio.

Saturday – Mars leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius.

You can take this to indicate that how people feel today, and the way they see things, will change over the next week.  It’s really interesting to watch.

I’ve already been feeling this shift, and am loving it!

I feel it too. Jeez, anything but the kind of energy that gets young people killed in a theater and causes accidents left and right, has got to be a huge improvement.

I feel as if I have made it over a major hump.

I also feel it, and feel a huge relief. I know Saturn is exalted in Libra but man that energy is not easy for my chart.

Big week for me. Venus will be conj with my pluto in my 2nd house. Saturn will be conj with my jupiter and neptune in my 4th house.

It’s good. I am over the horrible downward spiral I fell into during the Full Moon (which tried to burn my natal Moon/Mars/Pluto T-square to the ground and take me with it).

Fuck you, life, I’m bouncing back!!

I wonder what will happen with the planetary shifts this week…but I do feel a huge sigh of relief. I’m less antsy and other people are less antsy around me. This morning, I was focused enough to work on a powerpoint presentation I am incredibly proud of (in preparation for a conference). It’s finally a chance for me to speak about ideas I care about (and no I will not be negative when talking about a problem, I’m actually going to end my powerpoint on a positive note so that people can keep in mind solutions and a vision to work for instead of wallowing in depression).

the full moon was the peak of everything that had been accumulating for the past 6 months. my boyfriend dumped me, but then said he wanted to continue a friendship and have casual sex until he found his next relationship. my response was, “have a good life.”

i need this week. i am ready to leave that behind and finally move forward.

Glad to hear about mars! :D

BTW, a quick question… can a transit make an aspect to a progressed planet? aka. no natal planet actually involved.

I am already thinking some pretty big thoughts on an elementary level. Trying to go zen and breathe as I step up to the challenge of discerning which pitch is worth swinging at, to hit it out of the park, and end this silly game.

Here’s the play at the plate, she swings and . . .

Looking forward to my Mars Return next week.

As it happens, it looks like Saturn in Scorpio is going to ease up on my finances, e.g. I will be getting a regular paycheck for the first time in about ten months. We’ll see after Wednesday.

I remember the last time Saturn was in Scorpio with fondness, so hoping for a bit of same, but it’s a different day and age, so I will be happy with what comes of the now.

Agree with kr. Saturn in Libra is nice on paper but in reality squared all my Cancer for a good long time. Now it gets to square something new! LOL

I haven’t felt the relief, but maybe because I am focused on more ONE thing (romance) than other.

Actually, things in my life other than that is going pretty well… and has a potential of being better and better everyday…so maybe it is a relief?

I can totally relate. That old devil Saturn has been squaring my five natal Cancers in the 8th for three bloody years! Right now it’s lingering in a Saturn/Uranus square thang. Can Friday come soon enough?? Of course, then I’m into my 2nd Saturn return in Scorp in the 12th and Saturn will trine all my natal Cancers ( most of which I was born with, anyway, lol, so how tough can it be? lol) and square my natal Leos in the 9th (born with a few of those suckers, too, lol). Saturn also sat on my natal Neptune in Libra and MC in the 11th for about 100,000,000 years, lol. I’ve really got nowhere to go but up, or so I think, lol. Of course, you know what God does when you tell him your plans, right? He LAUGHS.

The energy has changed definitely. These guys are giving us new hope and something new to work with. Now how are we going to play with these energies??? :°)

Very happy to see Saturn leave Libra (in the 10th and as my ruler is Cap -that sucked work wise and rebuilding career). It was very hard, tested non stop but I confirm Saturn truly leaves a gift at the door if you do your work. I did, and received a gorgeous work offer with perks and benefits a few weeks ago and it blew my mind away. I’m elated over it.

Last time Saturn was in Scop for me I left the states and moved to Europe. I’m wondering about that one??…….

I am amazed by the timing of it all.

I feel that these are all different ways to tell the same story, as if from different angles.

Yesterday (!) my progressed moon moved into taurus, and in a short while it will at the same time oppose my natal moon and saturn with mercury transiting conjunct to it.

My natal moon is at 1° scorpio.

Maybe it is just the progressed moon, but everything is already considerably, palpably different. I am not saying better or worse (all the degrees of bad are still there, and piling), but change is welcome anyway.

Today I met S. again, entirely by accident, for less than a minute — and behaved decently. Albeit a bit cold, but cold was better than bleeding in her hands. :)

CancerAGoGo that’s a heck of a storm!

The timings here are nuts – T Jupiter is flirting with my natal venus in the 5th (n venus at 16’44 – so will retro before it directly conjuncts it), at the same time as T venus will be conjunct my natal Jupiter at 0deg Virgo.

Mars has just finished up with N Uranus and square N Mars (leo) and will then square N Jupiter.

The sun is opposite my N mercury, and my N sun (2deg taurus) will be opposed by both mercury and saturn, while the moon will be squared by the same (2deg leo).

No idea what all this means, apart from, maybe, monumental change afoot. Should be fun!

My chart is very Virgo- and Libra- heavy, so I’ve been pummeled by Saturn over the last five years in nearly every area of my life. Coping with my first SR and dealing with him walloping my 4th house, in which I also have Venus, Jupiter, and Pluto was trying. I also experienced a career upheaval (Uranus crossing midheaven) and with Saturn opposing, I think my opportunities were really limited and I was forced to use my energy and time for 4th house things.

With the transit into Scorpio, at least Saturn won’t be opposite my midheaven anymore! It will be in my 5th house and conjunct my Uranus, so I assume I’ll have to watch out for unexpected pregnancy. But it will also be trine my Ascendant and my Mars and sextile my Sun, Moon, and Mercury, so…I hope for good things. Or, at least, stability and an end to some of my headaches.

Like Zara, I have a heavy Libra chart. Good riddance to this horrible Saturn return. I have to admit that I’ve been in a very bad mood for the past couple of days this week but my mental clarity is returning. I kid you not, I’ve been a space cadet for the past 5 months and this is not in my nature. I am back to feeling energetic and ready to take on the world. I’ve dealt with all of the Libra relationship issues and I’m ready to move forward with my partner and get organized so we can bring our little one into the world this winter!
