Getting Divorced, But Keeping Your Problem
Astrology in real life
“…There is quite a bit of stress in both charts. What that means, is if you leave your husband or if he leaves you, you will take the strife with you, as it is exists inside you rather than being something caused by the interaction…”
(snip)
“…you may be trying to solve inner problems by making this outward move but in reality, if you separate, you will still be you, and you will still have these problems. Think very carefully about how you feel. Invest at least some energy into exploring whether or not you have felt these things before, with other partners, and whether you’re likely to feel them, regardless of who you partner with…”
If the problem is in your chart, separating from your partner is not going to help. You wind up with a new partner and the same ol’ problem.
Have you had this experience? What in your chart, dogs you?

I do…I have Sun (Cancer) squaring Mars (Aries). I consistently see this issue in my composite relationship charts. It seems to be there in my most serious relationships. I think I’ve figured out I’ve got some ego issues, lol. Actually, its not funny. I’m processing this as a maturation (Saturn) issue, as Saturn is heading straight for my Scorp asc, right now!
Have you experienced this?
I think I have. In other words, I have tension with in me that I can unleash due to not only Mars in Scorpio but also, Sun square Moon, Moon square Mercury sextile Moon (prickly?) I also have Chiron in my 3rd house and need to be heard. My ex has the same issue. So you can only imagine the struggles there. I have experienced this with others, mostly family. So yes I can see that. And those aspects are exactly what dogs me! Also having Scorpio Rising and not liking to lose or admit things because I feel too exposed when I do. UGH! So silly really!
I’ve been needing to read pieces like this and a few others you’ve posted in recent weeks. Yes, I can see how my intense desire to leave the very difficult issues surrounding my husband and his ex-wife and his kids are just an excuse to “start over, to gain freedom over MY LIFE.” I have a very problematic venus, moon, mercury conjunction in Gemini square Uranus. I’ve decided to commit more fully to my relationships and grow up. I also need to be more firm with my boundaries. Saturn in Libra finishing its horrible run through my first house… but that darn Uranus in Aries coursing through my seventh house means that I will probably continued to be challenged, surprised and disrupted by my relationships. I guess I have to learn to deal with this because it’s all too clear I won’t be able to run away and start over.
What in my chart dogs me? ME, I am, by far, my own worst enemy. But I see it now, so I can work on it,
Angie
Man or woman, the phrase, “I’m Just Not Happy” appears (ime) to be code for, “I’ve decided that things will somehow be magically delicious somewhere else with someone else…”
What I’ve witnessed and personally experienced is that this phrase is most often a precursor to someone about to learn the hard way what you’ve succinctly expressed in this post.
[PS: Anna in Canada--it is *so* good to "see" you. I think of you often.]
They were all leo moons (one of the funnier things I learned since in astrology). I spoiled them rotten and created monsters I could not live with. Since they could not be there for me when I needed, I called for space to work it out for myself, and the relationships fell apart. I’ve gotten progressively better, but I really got to set my limits from the start so I don’t get run over.
Oh yeah. Venus oppose Neptune to Saturn T square. Always attracted men who triggered it. And it always ended badly, because they triggered my issues big time. Have worked on them for years, and of course there will always be some residue of issue there, but now I refuse to go anywhere near a guy with personal planets at those degrees. Its been lovely!
T-square: Uranus/Pluto 1st/2nd house opposing Saturn/Chiron 8th house squaring Jupiter/North Node in 10th. You’d think this wouldn’t necessarily affect relationships – until you see Uranus rules my 7th and Jupiter rules my 5th. I think at this stage in life I finally get it (maaaaannnnny relationships later)!
So this has been rolling around in my head since I read it. It’s provoked me and I couldn’t figure out why. Now I’ve got it, light-bulb moment last night. What happens when you work-out that energy in your own chart (that has been dogging you)? The opposite? You wind up with the same old partner, but new energy to work out? What if the same old partner was part & parcle to what you were working out and/or now they are not progressing (as you are?). To give an example, I remember a while back, you were talking about destructive patterns in relationships and how you got past all those Scorpio Moons. Well, what if you do that, but you’re still married to a scorpio moon? How can you progress, move forward, let the energy go? What then?
I really wish this had come to me much soon. But I can only take what comes when it comes and be happy that at least it showed up,
Angie
Angie, I did not have a problem with men with Scorpio Moons. I have always, always gotten along with people who have their Moon in Scorpio.
My problem was with Scorpio Suns with Leo risings. This had to do with how my planets fell in their chart, to a significant degree.
Sorry Elsa, I didn’t find it right. But it’s still the same point, you marry a Scorp sun with Leo rising and learn how to deal with that energy (or as it falls in your own chart). The point being that in order to deal with what was in my own chart, I, need the external stimulus in order to learn how to deal with the internal energy? The internal energy is dealt with, but the external stimulus is still there? What then?
I didn’t mean ‘you’ in the above example, as in this has been your specific experience. But as just that, an example. Sorry if it was confusing or too readily misinterpretted,
Angie

If anything, my problem is staying in problematic situations and relationships, because I have a feeling it’s basically me and leaving wouldn’t help. Libra Sun square Capricorn Moon, I’ve become quite aware of the fact I’ll always be experiencing some inner tension.
