So I entered the initial data for tomorrow’s chart (I run charts for morning, midday and night) and saw the Taurus Moon pop up, in grand trine with Pluto, Mercury and the Sun, no less. I sat up a little straighter in my chair and said, “RIGHT ON!” I even said it out loud. A Taurus Moon, ruled by Venus is a great time to feel better about yourself. This Moon has the ease of the other planets in earth and the brace and call to action of Mars in Scorpio in opposition.

The Taurus Moon’s sign ruler (Venus) is stressed in square to Saturn, so it’s not a perfect setup. Also, the Moon is involved with Mars and Pluto with Mars in Pluto’s sign, and those are not peaceful combinations. Don’t expect peace or ease. But Moon in Taurus is comfort, so actively look to find comfort if that is what you need right now.

As a whole there is the opportunity to go deeper and still feel good about yourself. The full moon conjunct Chiron in Pisces was painful for many. Many are still dealing with the repercussion of feeling. This can be a good time to go deeper and sort some of that out. The Moon in this position helps keep the mood stable, which is a real, earthy aid.

The grand trine holds for much of the day but the Moon moves out of orb with Mercury and Pluto by evening. The Moon remains in trine to the earthy Taurus Sun, however, and this carries emotional stability on through the end of the day. Jupiter squares the Sun from Gemini, hotting up the general atmosphere. With Mercury conjunct the Sun and sextiling Mars, action, thoughts and communications come quick and sharp. Keep a cool head and remember that words can hurt. So can weapons. Don’t stab anyone, you know, unless they really deserve it, like if they took your twinkie (Taurus Moon).
